Miguel Almirón (now playing for Atlanta United)
LoveItIfWeBeatU replied to Deuce's topic in Football
As far as I'm aware, Miguel Almirón is not currently injured. -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48449380 I guess Samir Nasri didn't do much at West Ham then? I wasn't following how he did. "Free" + massive signing on/agent fees and about 200k per week or probably even more Yes, I'd mentioned agents fees, signing fees, etc for 'free' transfers in an earlier post. I'd assume all 3 of those players won't be able to command anywhere near their current, expiring contract weekly wages due to their injury records.

A club could sign Andy Carroll, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck all on free transfers. Not a bad strike force when they're fit (which isn't that often).
-
Andy Carroll is now available on a free transfer (excluding agents fees, signing fees, etc). Which team will take a risk on him (based on his injury history)? https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/may/29-may/andy-carroll-and-adrian-leave-west-ham-united

This takeover story (whether it turns out to be true or not) has really stolen the thunder of SAFC's latest failure. It's a shame it couldn't have been kept quiet a bit longer so we could have properly enjoyed Sunday's events.

We should easily treble our commercial revenue and at least double the matchday revenue in the next few years - all it takes is to do the right things and the club can grow organically to become a top 8 club easily We won't double match-day revenue, most games are close to being sold out. The price of season tickets and match day tickets could go up. Better product means more can be charged.

Craigy asking the players how will this feel for Prince William?

I thought it was the girl out of 'The Ring'. Ghostly white face.

Max Power and Dijksteel (apparently pronounced Dick Steel). Aren't these joke names?

Until the end of June. -
Gayle is not "turning 30", he's 28 and 7 months. I see from your profile you are 69. If that's not a hilarious sex related joke and it's your real age I suppose you are turning 71 are you? Obsessed with keeping Gayle you’re even willing to make him younger And aye 69 can’t you tell by my wisdom? Wiki says 29 and 30 in a few months can’t say I’ve seen his exact birth certificate though. Fair enough I take it back. I'm certain his Wiki date of birth made him 28 and 7 months when I checked the other day. Maybe Wiki was edited since then? I'm not obsessed with keeping Gayle but I also am not one of those people who would sell him for £10m. If NUFC can sell Gayle for a good price and upgrade on him then I'm all for it. Ashley's NUFC track record suggests that's far from a given.

Problem with leaving at the nearest point would mean if a player from the opposite side to the dugout is substituted they'll have to walk round half the pitch perimeter. A bit distracting to players of both teams. There's a reason substitutes warm up with a bib or different coloured top on.

Newcastle 7 - 1 Tottenham in 1996. What a bunch of bastards our team was that day.

The game is about entertainment. The more goals the better. It always annoys me when a team takes their foot off the gas and stops going for goals once the game is 'won'. Would you rather watch them pass the ball around at the back for 30 minutes?

If someone was paying me £100K+ a week I'd probably sing their praises too.

SkyBet has nothing to do with Sky Sports. Owned by The Stars Group that own PokerStars etc etc. Well they must pay to use the Sky name.
