Out of the free agent "made of glass" strikers who were available in the Summer, who has contributed to their new side the most so far? -

Wow that was bad.

To be fair to Watford, they'll be praised by certain people in the media for having the balls to go toe to toe with Man City.
-
Watford will be looking to change managers again at this rate.

The takeover hasn't happened yet so the thread heading is incorrect. Apparently it's due to happen by the end of the week.

There is a ceiling as to what an owner can do with Sunderland. It's not a rich area so even if they were a great Premier League team the owner couldn't charge a lot for season tickets and expect to fill the ground. If they could persuade superstar players to sign for them those players would be unlikely to live in Sunderland (maybe they could set up that London training ground their fans mention as a way of getting good players). Unless the new owners have previously undisclosed Mackem roots they will expect a return on their investment. One Mackem I talked to made me laugh. He wanted to buy shares in Dell as "when Sunderland get back to the Premier League the Dell shares will go up in value" (anyway he can't buy shares as Dell is a private company not listed on the stock market).

This article says Perez was on £20,000 a week. No wonder he was happy to leave. He's probably tripled his wages going to Leicester. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-summer-surplus-available-spend-16884404

This article says Carroll is on £25,000 a week and gets more if he plays (and more again if he scores). Not bad for a "pay as you play" wage! https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-summer-surplus-available-spend-16884404 -

You'd think he had enough money without having to write a book in which he confirms everyone's opinion of him is correct.

I thought it shut at 5pm. I see it runs to midnight for Scotland, 7pm for Serie A and 11pm for La Liga and Ligue 1. Not sure about other countries or lower divisions in the countries mentioned.

So Rolando Aarons (League One's Wycombe Wanderers) and Achraf Lazaar (Italian Serie B side Cosenza) got loan moves while Jack Colback, Henri Saivet and Jamie Sterry didn't.
-
Today's the day the window closes. Let's see if all or any of these 5 players leave.

Surely he won't be sold, especially with the injuries we currently have. Valencia interested in Javier Manquillo. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-news-live-achraf-16843034

Not long left in the Summer transfer window for Rolando Aarons, Jack Colback, Achraf Lazaar, Henri Saivet and Jamie Sterry to find a new club. The 2nd of September seems to be the last day to sort a move to a League One, League Two or European club.
