Rochdale 1-1 Newcastle United - 04/01/20 (winner to play Oxford (H))

As the next round is a winnable game (on paper) we'll lose the replay against Rochdale. If the draw for the next round had been away to Liverpool we'd definitely beat Rochdale. -

"Wanker" isn't an insult, more of a likely fact. Is Robbie saying he's never spent some "quality time" with himself? If someone shouts "Wanker" pretty much every man should turn around and say "Yes". -

Do you think NUFC will dare to charge £10 for an adult ticket for the replay? Having said that, don't Rochdale have to agree? They'll probably foolishly think they'll be getting a payday at a full St James' Park. -
He needs to be dropped. His confidence is non-existent. Organise some behind closed doors games against an under 11s team to see if he can score.

If Joselu had 20+ games he'd have scored probably 5 goals. -

We have barely tested their keeper. Hardly any shots on target. Not that our players can be trusted to shoot at goal and hit the target. -
Of course it was. All football clubs report tickets "sold" rather than the number of people actually there. It's the way it is done for some reason.

I see the Man U fans are leaving early.

Man U will be full of false confidence heading into their next game.
-
Yes. NUFC have been ruining Boxing Day for decades. Probably because we usually get an away to Man U fixture most years.
-
Well the players certainly enjoyed Christmas Day off going by this performance.

Weren't most people's negative opinion of him formed when he was played out of position as left back? -
Apparently Dummett got a broken nose but he played on after treatment.
-
What is his injury? Hamstring?
-
Imagine how good we'd be if we had goal scoring forwards to go with our goal scoring defenders?

There is already a full 25 man squad. Saivet and Colback didn't make the squad. NUFC have to sell or loan players out to free up squad places. The alternative is having even more players not able to play but still having to pay them. It doesn't help when unwanted players are on well paid long term contracts. Even for NUFC to loan players they need to move other players on.

We could play all night and not score. Aston Villa will have a false sense of confidence after easily beating this shower. -

The guys who run NUFC.com set up a fansite (in the 1990s), bought the NUFC.com address and post match reports from games they attend. Why does anyone think they have "power" and should lead the fans? They don't claim to be spokesmen for the fans. They don't put themselves on a pedestal (I believe they turned down invitations to visit the club when other fansites attended). I think the only reason people get angry about them is because they have the NUFC.com address. If you don't like what they say don't visit their website.
