  1. Exactly, so he should be loaned out now. Just put a recall clause in the loan deal to cover for any goalkeeper injury crisis. He'll eventually force a move if he doesn't get loaned out and only plays for the U23s. He's supposed to be a good prospect. He needs proper games.
  2. With hindsight, Ashley will be gutted NUFC have already used up the 2 English league loans. NUFC are now having to actually try to buy squad cover players instead of loaning them. When Lejeune is fit again Ashley will judge NUFC to have 'too many' centre backs on the books (Lascelles, Lejeune, Schär, Clark and Fernandez if his transfer goes through).
  3. I see Wendy Taylor has had enough of NUFC. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/aug/08/premier-league-preview-2018-19-newcastle-united
  4. He's the player Rafa wanted last Summer.
  5. I thought he'd have sorted out a club by now. He's had a long time to arrange it. You'd think he'd want to get settled and up to speed as quickly as possible. He's had a year not playing. Either he's mulling over several options or he hasn't had interest from clubs he wants to join.
  6. Yes, I meant they are all closed on 31/08/2018, some close before then.
  7. So I assume all European transfer windows close by the 31st of August. Not much time left for a preseason. I wonder which clubs are really interested in him. Ben Arfa needs to make a decision soon.
  8. That's okay then (as long as he gets a loan).
  9. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-transfer-news-live-15006873 He's got to get loaned out for his own good. Another aspect of Ashley's NUFC. Young players don't get loaned out to help their development due to lack of squad depth.

  12. At least if Rondon arrives our wingers might try crossing the ball into the box.
  13. I take it you’ll be at the next AGM yourself? No but London based mags can be. You don't have to attend the AGM in person, you can just down vote every board recommendation from the comfort of your own home and all for around £5.
  14. I love all the people coming up with suggestions for someone else to commit a crime. If you think it's a good idea to attack Mike Ashley, kill him, rob from his shops, do a 'Buddhist monk setting himself on fire in protest of the Vietnam war' style act then do it yourself. Like I said the other day, people could buy one share in Sports Direct (currently £4.04) and then always vote against every board recommendation. Shareholders can also attend the AGM and give them a hard time. That would really annoy and disrupt him. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/prices-and-markets/stocks/summary/company-summary/GB00B1QH8P22GBGBXSTMM.html
  15. The replies to Richard Keys are wonderful.

  18. If that photo was for Pepsi Max it shows you how times have changed. Even then it seems an odd photo unless the sponsor was Kalashnikov.
