Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

And because it directly clashes with Sutton vs Arsenal, so if you were a neutral and on the fence, you might be a bit more tempted by our game. No neutral worth their salt should even consider watching our game whilst the Sutton game is on. It's got giant kill written all over it and it's on Council telly! Council telly was Sky TV because a lot of council houses had satellite dishes attached to them when private houses rarely did. -
"famed for its freezing weather" Which soft shit thinks it's "freezing" in the North East? Imagine having players paid tens of thousands of pounds a week who wouldn't live in the commutable area.

If Gayle picks up where he left off goal scoring wise we should be OK. Over the last few months we've had to cope without Shelvey and/or Gayle for quite a few games. Also the players who were away at the ACON. We've managed to stay top or a couple of points behind through that time. Hopefully with a near full strength squad and no cup games we'll see it through. -
When he's up against the keeper in a one on one the keeper almost always seems to save the shot. "The more I practice the luckier I get" as the saying goes. He should practice finishing all week, every week.

Hopefully Gayle will be fit enough to start and he picks up where he left off goal scoring wise. -
He has an uncanny knack of finding the keeper on the occasions he does manage to be on target.

When's "The Great Aleksandar Mitrović Compilation" video with the "The Greatest American Hero Theme Song - Believe it or Not" soundtrack coming to YouTube?

Mbemba put in probably his worst performance for us in the reverse fixture. It was the game which lost him his starting place in the team. I'd be surprised if he started. He might not even make the bench. -
Rafa supposedly has cast iron guarantees in his contract. If these guarantees are broken Rafa could leave and would be due a big pay off. Hopefully Ashley isn't going to wreck everything again. He should just sell NUFC if all he wants to do is gamble on Premiership survival by spending the bare minimum. He's already failed at that twice (and come close a few times due to under investment and bad decisions). A huge number of fans will give up if Rafa goes, especially when he's replaced with a yes man. I thought Mike Ashley was quoted as saying Rafa was the best manager we could get?

I'd imagine the best players we've got at that level are the players who are currently out on loan.

Every NUFC fan wants him to succeed (why wouldn't they?). The fact is he is an absolutely awful finisher. For all those who defend him with stats I'd like to see his goals per chances ratio.
-
He needs to play for a team like Barcelona who could create umpteen chances for him a game. He might then be able to put one of them away. I was at the Preston North End cup game when we won 6-0 and PNE went down to 10 men after 27 minutes. I said to the person I was with after Mitrović had got 2 goals that if he doesn't score a hat trick in this game he never will. We created loads of chances and good opportunities. He always seems to pass to someone else when you'd expect a striker to shoot.

If his name was Ameobi he'd be shot with shit for his constant failure to finish chances. I like strikers who can take chances.

Anonymous on the wing but I thought he did well when moved up front. He had two decent shots which their keeper did well to save. He has a lot more pace and movement than our other Gayle alternatives. -
