I see Aleksandar Mitrovic got himself a 3 game ban for a deliberate elbow. I'm sure Fulham will be livid with him as that puts a dent in their promotion hopes.

One positive I suppose is PIF must really want NUFC. With all the shit thrown their way they could have thought it was too much hassle but they still seem to be pushing. I'd be surprised if they went through all this just to do a half arsed ownership of NUFC. I guess they'll be trying to make NUFC a force again if the takeover goes through.

Ritchie and Hayden both came off injured against Aston Villa so that's two possible changes to the starting 11. -

The Premier League don't have a say on who can buy a Championship club. If PIF decided to buy a Championship club on the brink of promotion there would be nothing the Premier League could do to stop them joining the Premier League. The Premier League probably hope NUFC get relegated so they don't have to make a decision.

After the January transfer window, Dummett was dropped from NUFC's Premier League 25 player squad list due to his season ending injury. Has Dummett recovered from his injury and are the Premier League allowing changes to the squad list?

I understand the point he's trying to make but his example of being made "broke" is hyperbole. If he never earned a salary again he's probably already set for life.

Could the TV companies demand a full refund? All the Premier League teams have played 28 or 29 games. The TV companies will miss out on the opportunity to show 9 or 10 games per team. Roughly they've had 3 quarters of a season. It's not like the TV companies didn't get the subscription fees and advertising fees for showing those games. Knock a quarter off the price of next season (if next season happens) for the TV companies. At least that way the clubs will have some advanced notice that their TV income will be cut and they can budget for that for next season.

It's not in the interest of the teams at the bottom of the Premier League to restart the season. I'm sure they'd happily have the season annulled. I can imagine they'll vote against any restart plans. Having said that apparently if 14 of the 20 teams agree a plan that's enough. Problem with that is most teams don't have much to play for so will they care if the season is annulled or not?

How could teams being promoted but no teams being relegated work? It would create a situation where even more games would need to be played next season. Also the league at the bottom of the pyramid would have less teams than usual.

I cannot imagine football stadiums being full of fans until a vaccine has been rolled out which could take at least 18 months. Are people going to attend wearing N95 masks until then? Back to normal is a long way off. At least the possibility of an empty stadium for a season could push Mike Ashley to finally selling NUFC.
