Ultimately though if it has been a power struggle, Howe was always going to win, and rightly so given what he’s achieved. Hope we can pick up a couple of Bruno/Botman type signings. Very exciting summer if so.

Wanker! I was going to come over and ask you at half time yesterday as I was in the SC but was too nervous to move from my seat due to how poor we had been playing, so didn’t bother.

True this. Re road rage. I was involved in some on the A1 a couple of weeks back, thankfully nobody got hurt but when I calmed down I was embarrassed about my actions. I work in claims and have seen some crazy dash cam of accidents that have occurred due to road rage.

Chelsea just sign a load of expensive players, no thought or strategy put into it. Why do players go there ffs? Was reading how Disasi hasn’t even been able to get into Villa’s squad the last couple of games. Delighted we didn’t get him last summer when he was linked.

This. I hate the way our fans (not so much on here) fawn over past players. Twitter used to go into meltdown whenever Mitrovic and Adam fucking Armstrong scored in the Benitez days. Our fans are going to have a breakdown when we are forced into selling a purple.

Was a lovely feeling when Villa went 2 down. Everyone chanting and happy. The moment Everton’s header hit the back of the net was absolutely gut wrenching.

We’ve already had Girls Just Wanna Have Fun this season, believe it or not. You’re right though, it’s shit. My thoughts on Hey Jude are well publicized on here. After the cup final everyone was singing along to 17 Going Under, never once has it been played at SJP. A song by a local lad to boot.

That press conference was class like, just pure honesty, no keeping cards close to his chest. Interesting to hear how even he had concerns about our season fizzling out after the final. Really hope he’s backed this summer. Couple of early signings and the buzz will be incredible.

Christ that was bad. Thankfully didn’t cost us. That formation in the first half didn’t work at all. Our attacking play was just so predictable and shit. Was like the second half of them Brighton and West Ham games where it felt like we weren’t even going to create a chance let alone score. As said though, didn’t cost us, so not really arsed. Fresh players and fresh ideas next season.
