I kinda disagree. I don't think he was overhyped at all and at the time people were saying 8m was a bit of a bargain. He was great for us, one of our players of the season but was surrounded by retards with zero confidence. He's still a solid player but it'd be awkward as hell if he rejoined us! /my2cents

We were pretty terrible but I found that Pardew not making any subs until the 83rd minute utterly baffling. We were toothless up front and have kuqi and even young'uns on the bench. It's as if he settled for a loss, it made me pretty furious that we never even went for it. Pardew was useless in this match and that's what angers me most today. Loven was invisible, ranger was moronic and their centre halves were big and stronger than our forwards. You'd think putting kuqi on at about 60-70 mins would give us some presence in the box? what a horribly frustrating game.

With most of the results today going our way, we're bound to cock it up! I reckon a win is possible if we can hold back their wingers, 1-2 away victory is my prediction

I used to love watching matches at the old Odeon too, lots of good memories. I have to check the freeview teletext at work on saturdays, it's a bit of a nightmare but I cope..
