The Magpies fought for every ball at St James' Park and Sibierski and Terry were involved in a number of tussles at both ends of the pitch. On one occasion Terry felt he had been impeded in the area by Sibierski and made his feelings known to referee Mark Halsey. Sibierski has admitted he was surprised to see Terry complain so strongly, but believes it was borne out of frustration. "I was surprised John Terry was complaining because he is English," Sibierski told the Evening Chronicle. "I didn't touch his balls, or if I did it was no more than he touched my balls. We have to compete for all balls. "But they felt the game was going against them because we were playing very well. "We frustrated them. They were very disappointed, as they needed three points to have a chance of winning the title. "They were worried at the end, and it was a good feeling for us."

Have served Tim Krul at a clothing shop I work at in the Eldon a few times now, seems a nice guy Also sat in a restaurant on osbourne road and saw Dyer and Bramble at a table across from me. Umm, seen Emres silver range rover, Laurent Robert sat behind me at a restaurant table on the Quayside and I saw him and Bernard walking into a nice restaurant I'd just been to near Jesmond. Also Gary Speed sped past us in his mercedes at some point a while ago, saw Taylor with a mate walking down China town a couple of months ago. Can't remember any other times I've seen toon players... haha so they've mostly been in restaurants

Right, he goes past 4 players and the goalie. The first one is purely down to luck, the defender misses his tackle and Messi holds him off as he barges into him. The second one is great skill and pace to stay away from him. Third one (The left back) never makes any attempt to tackle him, absolute statue. Fourth one (Centre half) lunges in with Bramblesque naivety - and while Messi almost knocks it past him, he still gets a toeend on the ball and that gives him the angle to go around the goalie and takes all the pace off it for him to retain control. Fith one (goalie) is candy from a baby. Some great skill in there but for me there is far, far too much luck involved for it to be considered a great goal. Maradona was in complete control from the moment he got the ball, no-one came close to taking it off him. BTW, if goals against defenders as shite as these are allowed to count as great, David Nugent vs Palace earlier on this season was better IMO. I agree, great goal but didn't exactly blow me away..
