  1. Hargreaves? Aye they wanted him as well. Yeah but he's Canadian and playing for England. Pot calling the kettle black and all that. To be fair, most of these players are either born in Germany or have lived most of their life there. Only Cacau is a bit of a pisstake. Exactly. Otherwise, they could equally say England are taking the piss by having the likes of Ferdinand, Defoe, Huddlestone, Onuoha, Bent, Walcott, Heskey, Richards etc represent them. They were actually born in England. The likes of Podolski, Klose, Cacau weren't born in Germany. Doesn't bother me really like, it goes without saying that the Germans will do whatever it takes to win/destroy humanity. This is really my point, added to the fact they have no German heritage either makes it a mockery tbh, just like Jack did with the Ireland team in the 80's and 90's. Oh, you're just grumpy because they would've defeated you if we Americans hadn't been there to fight your war for you...
  2. Suck it, you tea-swilling limey bastards!!! USA! USA!
  3. Couldn't even beat Reading's points total. Houghton out!!!
  4. Hell, I'll drive from Miami if it means finally seeing Newcastle play live.

    MLS 2010

We did have an MLS team - Miami Fusion. Nobody went to the games.
  6. Really do have to feel bad for the Palace fans. Life is openly mocking them now.
  7. Top of the table again! Now all I need is a Miami win against Virginia Tech and this'll be quite a good day!
  8. If we make it to 666, Ashley's sure to sell...
  9. I vote we carry on in the new "hot chicks with power tools" direction VegasToon has embarked upon...
  10. But on the plus side, it gives some of our injured players a chance to heal up.
  11. I concur. Why fuck around? The damage is done. The football gods know that the thread's been started. Deleting it now would just anger them further.
  12. Just shut off for non-UK listeners. Bastards. Or possibly for everyone. Pretty much the same thing as far as I'm concerned.
  13. This site might help. Not sure if it's on TV at all over here, though.
  14. Holy fucking hell... I must be seeing things. I could've sworn Shola just scored.
  15. Severe undiagnosed brain damage? Mainly the same reason a few others have said. I hate rooting for the "easy" teams - the big 4 PL teams that practically every soccer fan in the US supports. When I started really following the Premier League, Newcastle was an underdog team that not too long ago was challenging for the title and was struggling to find themselves again. I liked something about that and I liked the devotion of the fan base. So I figured "What the hell, seems like a good group. Better than being one of those annoying ManU or Liverpool fans." Plus, I like the beer. Mind you, there may be something to that brain damage theory.
  16. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Might as well try. Won't get overturned, though.
  17. Down to a 6. Not out of the woods, not by a long shot, but we're much more in control of our own destiny now. Any kind of result in either of our last 2 games, and I think we're in the clear.
  18. When was the last time we've come from behind? Can't even remember.
  19. Who'd have ever thought that beating fucking Boro could feel so good...
