suppose the only thing you might want to see as a result of CL qualification to bolster the squad would be say a good loan for a season with a view to buy that is offset by the CL money in a single season, therefore if you have a shit season and don't think it's the right move to cement it then don't bother

interesting thing for me if we did squeeze in is that i don't think it'd change ashley's approach to player incomings one bit, i still think we'll have the same targets and plan regardless - a squad as close to the limit as you can realistically have supplemented with hopefuls from the youth and reserve teams i don't think he'd suddenly allocate another 10-15m for new players that he otherwise wouldn't have, for example, i also wouldn't criticize him for it one bit

i don't think we'll make it tbh, i really think we'd need to win all of the last 5 games for that to happen and it's surely too much to ask given who we've got left to play? see no reason why 5th is beyond us though, i think one of chelsea or spurs might slip up often enough (my money is on chelsea due to the number of games they've got to play)

Thing is, we generally always look like this at home against the poor teams. We shouldn't be playing Perch, that's for sure. aye that's fine, no bother, just saying first 45 minutes we were very poor and couldn't break them down with the players and set up so it really needs changing it's not even a case that we should just keep plugging away and it'll come right in the end, it looks all wrong and the players don't look comfortable with it either
