mrmojorisin75 replied to Pilko's topic in Football
if anyone knew it should have been us like carroll will leave liverpool for somewhere in a year or two and get back to business...wrong club bought him imo, fortunately for us it turns out EDIT: mind i'm not saying i think he'll be world class or owt, but he showed enough for us that he can be a top class PL striker imo... -
wonder what they had to pay him? and hey shak, he never got to play his song huh....

aye no bother, in my close to 20 years now supporting NUFC we've had 2 world class CB's and one of them barely played through injury which makes colo the best so yeah, let's play it coooooool
-
they publicly stated it was not a decrease very recently didn't they?

Innovate. Get real. Get real. Get real.

we need some screenshots here like, i don't feel a HBA appearance is discussion worthy without them any more myself

nah, nike are only convincing you he's an 80m pound player through their clever marketing tbh...better off with pony or gola 'cause then we'll know we're sponsored by cheap shite
-
20m or more he'll be away imo
-
he fucks it up because he tried to move the ball onto his right, in fairness from the replay i saw he nudged it away but the rebound fell for richards right? either way for me being on the wrong foot fucked it, as has been said he read the run well
-
for fucks sake, what are you on about man, this is about the evils of capitalism now? i'd rather have nike sponsoring the ground and designing the shirts than say poundstretchers or iceland but hey let's be devils advocate about it all yeah
-
Small mercy? if this was happening imo they'd be doing it as a gateway move to head towards doing the same thing with bigger clubs like manyoo, barca etc. can't see it happening like unless we've a way out of the puma kit deal, might be a buyout clause that's worth our while or something nike would ultimately be a massive win, quality classy brand, so it's not nike it is? quality classy brand ? in football terms what's better than nike? nowt was just thinking can you imagine coming out the other side of this shitstorm with nike sponsoring the stadium, kits designed by nike and all the sportsdirect s*** off the ground? pie in the sky s*** both do tacky and decent products, nikes advertising is classier because it is aimed at a differing demographic, outside of that they are more alike than different. their football gear pisses on puma...and any-fucking-way i was using classy in reference to the current 'branding' we have which is far from classy
-
thought delboy had said they were making the kits next year, if it's options after 2 years or something maybe there's a chance our shirt sales might be a sweetener for nike as well, urgh why am i taking this seriously?
