a bible quote number that is cleverly applicable to our plight i've never read the fucker however, there's far better fiction out there anyone got one?

It won't soften the blow in the slightest, and there'll be a piece of you fuming about the bet if we stay up. I don't know how people can bet against their own team, I did it once, never again. if we stay up I wont give a shite about the money, i'll be too busy enjoying the best day of my life I have £12 on Chelsea, Gers, Celtic, Barca, Arsenal and Pool, return of about £185 £10 on all the above plus West Ham, and Blackburn for a return of about £650, cant be arsed to check that one and of course £300 for us to go down which will get me a return of £530 should it happen And the prize for the biggest mercenary bastard so far goes to Ronaldo! You're a fucking disgrace, and don't give me that bollocks that "the money will soften the blow"!!! A true supporter of NUFC could never hope to profit from our relegation. i've never bet on us not to win like, couldn't do it

to be fair it's mainly down to the injuries that weren't his fault No it isn't. what is it then.. ? " he didn't want to be here in the first place" maybe ? I've got to agree with TRon here, to the extent that he isn't finished due to injuries that we're 'not his own fault' - he's finished due to the massive injury that he picked up by choosing to go the last World Cup when he had missed six months of the previous season and was clearly unfit, and cost us his services for amost the full next season. If anything the little twat owes us an extra season for nowt. agree with this and Tron - he actually admitted it publicly in an interview too, that he rushed himself back from the broken foot to make england i hate the man

shearer is apparently making these decisions now so i'm all for it, he's played with a good keeper or two in his time pity sholagoals was handed his free ticket by now really isn't it? thanks mike

To be fair to Oba, he's been struggling with this groin/hernia problem for most of this season. He's also been struggling due to his lack of a brain and the required ability needed to be a top level striker. So what's your conclusion then, he's not good enough for us??? think otters still stuck with NE5 in the "CL qualification is just around the corner again with a couple of good signings" mode "top level" striker? tragic comments

Hope you lose your money!! & your house tbh, fuck's sake -
s*** that. Why would he join a club that's just lost its two best players. $ Motta? Milito? the guy joining the cub that's lost it's best two players no? it's a reason, you asked why...
-
Shit that. Why would he join a club that's just lost its two best players. $

would it really be that mental? i've seen him score a few before like. Exactly. Good Premiership striker ending goal drought. Hardly shock news really. you two being deliberately awkward or just belligerent? the point being he's not scored in ages, almost the whole of NUFC fans hate the ground he walks on, he's out of contract in the summer and rumours of his retirement at 29 have started despite him being the golden child of football at age 17 that he could score the goal that keeps us up in breaking his drought to me would be pretty fucking surprising but obviously not for you two jaded, seen-it-all-before dudes eh?
-
can you imagine if owen puts in a goal that keeps us up? either for a draw or a win jesus man, it'd be mental
-
I've always thought you're something of an idiot, so I'll just repeat that: idiot.
-
"I'm always optimistic, I don't think we'll go down, but like I said to the lads there's still a game left and we've still gotta go down and get a result, I think they're capable of doing it. I've always believed in them, even through the bad times, we have had games were we haven't quite done ourselves justice. We'll go to Leicester and with that effort, and the sort of effort we give with 8 men, 9 men against Derby we'll get something. Then we'll survive and then we can start looking at how we can turn this magnificent club around." Cheers Tooj major difference? no-one believes in our squad of dickheads anymore - not even themselves from what i can see

Using the same logic, would you say that Lampard is a better midfielder than Xavi? I'd certainly rather have Lampard in my team tbh Hmm...it's your opinion Let's take this further then. Would you say that Lampard has been a better midfielder for Chelsea than Zinedine Zidane was for Madrid, given that Lampard for Chelsea has double the goals and assists Zidane has in the same number of games for Madrid? personally don't agree he'd perform in any team either - xavi for spain compared to lampard for england as the most obvious example xavi's a player who dictates the way a game is played, lampard is not although he does have other strengths of course Not just disagreeing for the sake of it mate but I've rarely seen Lampard on a pitch this season without him bossing the game tbh i've just not seen it myself dude, never have with lampard tbh - he's a great midfielder don't get me wrong but basically i would say the international stage is the hardest to perform on and he simply doesn't do that both xavi & lampard play in great teams that have been constructed around their respective strengths - this can't be done at international level and xavi is the one who excels imo both quality though

yeah? can't agree but fair enough

Using the same logic, would you say that Lampard is a better midfielder than Xavi? I'd certainly rather have Lampard in my team tbh would depend on the team surely? who they'd be playing with
-
who's the ref? i'm gonna go for the ref to be our hero with a dodgy sending off or a poor penalty decision in our favour at the end of the game more likely it'll NOT go in our favour mind
-
Using the same logic, would you say that Lampard is a better midfielder than Xavi? i liked ginola more as a player & think he had a better all round game but robert was one of the most direct wingers i've seen play - it's like he had 2 gears, stop and attack the fuck out of them i was probably one who underrated robert looking back, thought he didn't work hard enough - well we got damien duff to replace him and he works hard apparently

The thing that does it for me isn't what Shearer (or Dowie) has said, it's what Kinnear hasn't said - the guy is renowned for shooting his mouth off, and spouting utter fucking tripe about everything. If he knew he was coming back, you bet he'd have told the press by now. If he wasn't sure, he'd have probably said that as well. The fact he's said nothing says to me that we won't be seeing him as manager anymore, you just know he'd have come out with some Billy Liar-esque quotes if there was even a 1% chance he was coming back. Or maybe Ashley and Llambias have told him to keep his mouth shut until they know what division we're playing in next season. think you're onto something there pilko - maybe shearer pointed out in their discussions how much of a total and utter joke kinnear is and in the event shearer doesn't take charge they'd be mental to take kinnear back that's what i'd like to think anyways
-
said this back in the summer, another player gone and not replaced would never have made 32 games with us so it's pointless really - i'm sure our medical staff were saboteurs or something, sent by the mackems behind enemy lines

2 people voted insomnia!! he got an account?

Absofuckinglutely. This is key, there is just so much work to do, there is no time for sitting back mauling things over, having a break, then finally making the decision on who will be the permenant manager some time in late June early July. But why do I get the impression that that's exactly what will happen ? aye i want our team to be signed at the start of the season in time for the 1st game, none of this before the transfer window shuts s***, really players should be signed so that they start pre-season training, that gives you better preparation no, no, no, don't you know it's haaaaaard to sign players these days? it can only be done right before the window, apparently If you were a Chairman of a club why would you sell a player a month before the window ends? as opposed to selling him hours before it end and having that amount of time to find a replacement? yep, that's logic for you fact is the clubs willing to spend the money don't f*** about do they? they sign the players at the value(s) asked or walk away if the value is too high and look at another target early doors Like Man U and Berbatov, how many weeks before the end of the window did he sign? oh come on dude, you're not really comparing the situations are you? when they NEED a player, i.e. have a gaping hole in their squad they don't wait until the last day of the window to sign him man u held the power in the berbatov deal 'cause they DIDN'T need him as they'd just pissed the league and hadn't lost any players - all parties knew this including berbatov & ferguson but spurs had to sell as he was going to be a disruptive force in the squad when not given his move we, on the other hand, have massive holes all over our squad that can be filled by vast numbers of players better than we have already - the first asking price too high? move on and get the next guy in for pre-season or wait until the end of the window again, yeah lets have a shit/empty squad again 'cause man u paid a fortune for berbatov near the end of the window, THIS must be the secret to their success
