Will City ever learn? It's rather amusing watching Man City embarrass themselves like this. I can really see the world's best striker go to a mid table team who won't be in any european competition.. reminds me of the classic krusty the clown thing, Q: "so samuel eto'o why did you decide to go to manchester city as it cleary ruined a great career?" A: "they parked a dump truck full of money on my front lawn, A DUMP TRUCK!!!"

i don't see that anyone would get any benefit out of personally, even if he did besides, what could he possibly say? i'd rather he release a statement explaing he's going to invest in the squad, appoint a better (competent) chairman to run the club day to day and never see or hear from the fat cunt ever again

i don't know whether to laugh or cry at this post, i really don't

37% of our fans not renewing (old board vs new board rubbish alert)

the 2nd division looms Still. Our finances will be in good shape, and we won't be buying any trophy players and selling one of our best players to Wigan and getting a Wigan utility player in return. Well done MIke lad, you've got the supporters truly on your side for doing such a good job. I'm with NE5 on this one. Ashley clearing all the debt in one go and not using half of that money to give Keegan decent buying power in the summer was his biggest mistake. You speculate to accumulate in this game and we're now paying for the lack of it. He's a twat for getting us into this mess and has nobody to blame but himself as he alone had the power to change it. If we go down I hope that arsehole gets run out of town. i know, how DID Mike Ashley take us from champions league regulars to relegation in less than 2 years? that's the question on everyones lips impressive feat i have to say -
duff will improve if the side improves because he'll be less exposed and have more options in all areas of the pitch, same for a number of our players imo many of our buys have been found out because of the lack of quality around them as much as them just turning to ratshit overnight

we know who's fit yet? personally i'd line up 4-5-1 with whichever back four then: -------butt------nolan------- jonas-----smith-----guthrie -----------oba----------------- nolan & butt to sit in front of the back 4 and protect, nothing more - a very limited area to roam within the other three have the job of keeping the middle tight and doubling up with full backs for protection - defend at about 30 yards out the whole time, compress our midfield and defence leaving oba to plough a lone furrow anything other than a frustration job on our part we're losing badly, do it right we might get lucky and scrape a point oh and i'd agree with putting a man on gerrard if the rest of our team up to it but they're not

It really did. The non-Mags in the office have been taking the piss big time. this and i agree with you about looking like bolton, or middlesbrough fuck that shit, this needs stamping out now

who slates him for this like? that's just bollocks, he's slated for allowing the wheels to come off after SBR as far as i can tell - souness and the 50m of death, massive crippling contracts we handed out then the roeder non-appointment can't recall anyone slating the guy for too much before that, in fact i'd say he did very well especially forcing the club into a period of financial prudence once SBR came to settle things down after gullit, which it looked like he was going to have to do again when he appointed allardyce fact is we had a lot of debt that appears to have become borderline devastating to us as a combination of the souness spend, contracts handed out plus declining performances on the pitch...obviously had that 50m worked and we'd gradually improved on the SBR team we'd not be having this conversation executives are there to take the fall when things go wrong NE5, just as they're paid handsomely when things go right - FS rightly deserves the plaudits for everything he achieved pre-souness but he deserves the flak that comes with souness and everything that has happened since... it's like the banks, no-one is remembering the good times now the policies of the banks have been exposed and they're falling apart at the seams are they? they're focusing on the decisions that tore something good apart, and so they should FS should be treated no differently to this -
the one thing i will agree with you on is should he take the job and not succeed then he should be out like anyone else, assuming he starts properly in the championship then he should be given a target of 2 seasons to get us up imo (if the finances support him) otherwise he's failing, maybe 3 at a push being devils advocate here i can kind of see what testa mora is saying in the sense that if he shows 0% aptitude for the job there might be the temptation to keep him on longer than should be because of who he is pity he's dressing it up with so much shit

total and utter horseshit
-
fuck you dude (not in an aggressive sense) i'll take shearer being successful and creating a successful dynasty at the club for future managers to aspire to any day of the week i've never heard such wank as this - someone wanting a club icon to fail, fucking pathetic
-
doesn't have to, he's using the NE5 defence

if you can't see that they both played better than they have done in the past then you clearly know f*** all about football i'm not saying they played well as such, just better than the abject total s*** they've been before...smith won a second ball on the edge of the box and hit a shot on target and i actually saw duff beat a man more than once in relative terms these are amazing feats for the two players in question, such has been their utter awfulness in a B&W shirt How long has Smith been out for? How do you know he wouldn't have come back looking a little slightly improved anyway? We were lucky to have 10 shots, with at least half of those hitting the top of the gallowgate. He was still cack. can you read?

disagree, we're a few grades of shit better than we were under or hughton but yeah, we're still shit

what happened to duff on monday? i've not seen the likes of it since he arrived, he looked like a totally different person - one who is actually a professional footballer who is paid to keep fit and run and that

I've like what I've seen from Shearer with the considertion in mind of the piss poor squad we have. PISS FUCKING POOR. Disjointed, unbalanced and lacking players for important positions. Personally, i think he has done fairly well given the fixtures we have played. Chelsea 0-1, did you expect a 3 nil win? Stoke 1-1 good result not many teams have come away from there with a point. Spurs 0-1 considering they splashed out in january and can field a team with players in their correct positions is not bad, we could have drew that game anyway. Portsmouth 0-0 portsmouth came for a draw and got it, o admit we huffed and puffed but this is what its like at the bottom. I also think he has come out and has come across well in interviews. all of that, plus he got reasonable performances out of duff and smith against pompey - something that has eluded a few before him someone else rightly said it took keegan 9 games before things started to turn, shearer has had 4 and EVERYTHING was a lot worse than when keegan came in last season imo

you have to see that ashley has no idea about appointing managers or pretty much about anything else football related piss and moan all you like but by luck rather than good management he's appointed someone who might have the ability to succeed and certainly has the backing of the fans you'd rather take your chances would you? with kinnear? or whatever other cheap bag of shit has been ashley could find? personally i'd rather take my chances for a few seasons with AS

that's the point of the article, did you read it?

Let him build his own team first before you judge him. FFS He has a f***ed up squad at the minute left over from Roeder, Allerdyce, KK, Kinear (wise). Its like a mk2 ford cortina botched up to f***, with roller skates for f***ing wheels. Its on the highway to relegation. Give hims a fcuking chance. Aye, and would you give said cortina to an apprentice to make it brand new? Nah you wouldn't, you'd give it to someone with experience of fixing the fucker! i'd give it to the apprentice if it'd already been through the hands of a number of experienced mechanics and they'd all made it worse
