  1. Still 11 games left mate. Aye, but people are jerking their knees off here and saying that we are definitely relegated. i think it's obvious to ALL now we will not get ourselves out of this, the amount of games we can realistically expect to win now before the end of the season is down to about 3 & personally i don't think we'll win them historically teams DO start winning at the bottom, they usually make a fight of it, we can not win the writing is on the wall, in big fuck off letters
  2. yeah i do, 4 straight defeats, you're gonna get reamed for posting fixtures though
  3. Garbage Well, as soon as KK walked out on us....I began worrying about another relegation battle this season. Are we not in a bloody relegation battle, mate?! We are, most definitely, slap bang in the middle of one. I have to admit though, relegation wasnt my first thought at the time. It did have a huge impact but at 3 games in, the appointment of a competent manager at that time would have seen us through the season. as soon as the impact of the protests became clear on ashley i knew we were in deep, deep trouble and that was confirmed by the appointment of there's only one person to blame for everything anyways, it's not wise, it's not llamblias, it's not KK, it's not & it's not wise
  4. Garbage Well, as soon as KK walked out on us....I began worrying about another relegation battle this season. Are we not in a bloody relegation battle, mate?! he's technically right like robster
  5. hope it starts a chain of events that ruins the cunt, i'll do a patrick bateman on the cunt if i see him sleeping rough and all
  6. if they didn't see it then they won't now guaranteed our only hope is ashley has noticed, but he won't, the cunt
  7. yep have been since we were dropping points early on under you don't stay up if you don't win games, how can people not see this?
  8. before anyone else posts this anywhere else can you please remember we're not even looking for a new manager, we have the man "we" want he's just recovering from heart surgery it'll all come good once joe's back and we're already down
  9. Why are you excluding them? included or excluded, answer is still no
  10. what's the general consensus on best betting website? used ladbrokes 'til my money just ran out and i'm bailing on them 'cause the fuckers didn't even give me a free bet, what a world we live in best i've seen is bet365 who give you 15% of original deposit when joining
  11. anybody who dosent appreciate KK deserves a bang on the nose like fyp. howay man, thought we were past all this cp40? wouldn't you like what went on to go public, and be proven that your blind faith in KK was justified? if it remains private you're just pissing in the wind with everyone else who doesn't have a fucking clue what happened No my loyalty to KK remains intact, he was, and is my boyhood Hero. i know that man, but don't you WANT to know he WAS forced out by wise/llamblias? don't you want it to go public so that people like yourself know why your dreams of success under KK were ripped apart? which is more or less what crumpy gunt was getting at

    Bramble

i agree with this, i also think there's a strong likelihood he gets better midfield protection in the wigan team than he ever got with us...there are different types of defender and i never thought he was comfortable once he started getting dragged about (dabizas the same) wigan seem to play with at least one dog (cattermole/scharner?) who really protect the middle and perhaps that just suits him

  14. this part is bang on the nose like
  15. He's off his tits. As they pointed out on MOTD, he'd rather enjoy watching his team play well - yet get beat every week - than stay up, or so it seems. And he's a Smoggie. thought we liked principles round our way? think about it like this - it'll be a fucksite easier to achieve success if your philosophy is for attacking, passing football and you can get average players playing great stuff...once you get the opportunity to sign better players then i see no reason why it shouldn't succeed, a la KK getting us promoted, for example if your philosophy is for hoofing it up the fucking pitch then it doesn't matter how good the players are in a sense, you'll only ever achieve a certain amount in this day and age very, VERY impressed with the way west brom played yesterday also should be noted we'd need to pay compensation for mowbray, so we might as well forget it
  16. Where's that from? guardian, the fiver - very, VERY funny shit out every day at five, funnily enough
  17. If their case is so flimsy then Keegan won't take a settlement and will take it all the way and win £9 million.........lets see if that happens. I'd hazard a guess that neither side wants a protracted legal battle but the fact the clubs stance has altered so significantly since the words 'court case' were first mentioned is a huge hint that they're talking bollocks, as is the various contradictions from MA & co. People on here don't seem to be able to see the forest for the trees. I'm gobsmacked at some of the drivel posted on here. You are hazarding guesses, you keep hurling insults and yet its obvious that you, like the rest of us, have no knowledge of the sequence of events leading up to Keegan's departure. Do you know what Keegan's contract says about his job and responsibilities? Do you know which clause in the contract Keegan is claiming was breached by the club? Do you know what evidence Keegan has for that breach? Of course you don't - you've made your mind up that Keegan = Geordie hero = in the right. Ashley = fat cockney slug = in the wrong. Clueless and childish logic. How am I hazarding guesses? Ashley has came out and contradicted himself on what went on when Keegan was here and what his exact role was whereas despite Libertine's tedious quoteathon earlier in the thread there is no evidence Keegan submitted any responsibility for the buying and selling of players to Wise, Jiminez, Vetere and Llambias. Yes, there are quotes saying he welcomes the help scouting and selecting players but that's a different barrell of s****. If I am in fact right about the above assumptions, which there is heavy evidence for, then why are we here? Why did Keegan leave and why is he taking the club to court (or at least trying to)? Why did Joey Barton send a baffling text to Jim White when a transfer to Portsmouth looked in the offing on the evening of the transfer window? Why did Llambias say he wanted to wallop Keegan? Feel free to post your mad cap conspiracy theories. I assumed that you are hazarding guesses because you said you were. Never mind conspiracy theories its staggering reading the absolute certainty that you appear to have on this. Constructive dismissal is a complex area, it really is not black and white. Keegan would have to prove that there was a "fundamental breach" of his employment contract by the club, and that left him no choice but to leave. He has then got to prove that what the club did was unfair, so in effect he must also prove a claim for unfair dismissal. This can be hard because sometimes employers have to make decisions that are in the interests of their business even though they cut across an employee's contract. For the sake of example lets say Keegan's contract gives him the right of veto and approval on any players the club buys or sells. Lets go back to the end of the summer transfer window and Keegan is expecting 3 or 4 players that he wants to be brought in by Wise and co. The negotiations on these players break down. Its getting close to the deadline and getting hard to find alternatives that Keegan wants and the squad needs more players. So Wise authorises the Gonzalez and Xisco deals. Its against Keegan's contract but the club was taking commercial action that it thought necessary. Tribunals have been known to accept such action by an employer as a successful defence in cases of constructive dismissal. As I have said before we don't know exactly what happened in the Keegan case but its a huge mistake to think these cases are straightforward, there is rarely such a thing as a watertight case. And that is why many of these actions get settled out of court. you're a solicitor AND an account? No I'm not a lawyer mate - I have had some previous with employment law. f*cking minefield it is too freaked me out, takes all my time doing hard porn and cancer research, wondered if there was two of us out there!

  19. Awful! yep compare it to our current home shite...armani vs donnay tbh
  20. i think it worth noting this point 'cause it's 100% correct and applies to both manager and players
  21. ironic that with American owners they're embarking on perhaps their biggest period of dominance, about to equal liverpools title record and are releasing cool retro shirts foreign owners tut tut
  22. this stopped me in my tracks when trying to catch up, stupefyingly idiotic sentence if ever i read one - i'd say it was wrong on every single level but it only pertains to operate on one level and it's diabolically wrong on that too the point is that he won't admit it, and still won't in fact, and sidetracked it again. The last regime has been the best in the last 50 years, by a country mile, and it doesn't take much to realise it or admit, but its too much for some. does anyone outright deny this? i've never seen it, but if they do then they shouldn't be allowed to post on this forum
  23. northern rock ain't done yet is it? oh jesus i hadn't dreamed mike and the roulette man might have a say in the new sponsor so soon the miiiiiiind boggles
