Werner can't even score an open goal He was offside of course, but still.

I'd love it, love it if Sweden knock Germany out

I mean, when the f***ing Danes are 5-1 superior to you, it's a natural reaction to be as salty as you are. We are even more incredibly grim FWIW, I dislike Denmark probably as much, or more, than you do. Do all the Scandinavian's hate each other? Pretty much. More friendly with the Swedes, though. That's a sibling kind of hatred, not full on hate.

Kroos has been horrific at passing this match
-
Fairly certain he can, yes.

Holy fuck it'd be delightful if Germany, Argentina and Brazil all dropped in the group stages

What?! He kicked him just when he was about to shoot. Yeah, stone wall penalty. Mitrovic and Kane's were stonewall, this was more of a load bearing metal stud wall. Amazing analogy

How does that make VAR shite? The ref is shite, VAR is just a source the ref can use to help make his decisions. Most seem to have made use of it and its made a difference. Other refs haven't, those shite refs dont change the fact that its been useful when used correctly. If you have VAR, it needs to be all-powerful. Like in the NFL when a challenge goes to their video referees. No point in having video refereeing if you're just utilizing it on half-chub instead of full on boner strength.

That's what the pundits/commentators have been saying so far, at least.
-
Bent as fuck. Needs to have 100% of a say or no say in decisions like that, VAR. Leaving it up to the on-field ref to decide if he wants to look at VAR or not makes it look silly.
-
Starting to be really angry with how it seems like the on field ref can just ignore the VAR.

Granquist for Sweden, dunno Germany. Müller?

It's not like a moral concept though. It's conditional on him staying there, which he has Yep. It runs from day one and until the day you leave, be that through being sold, released or at the end of the contract. The amount they get in loyalty bonus depends on how far into their contract they have come.

Man, I am nervous. The thing is we are not always the most disciplined defensively, and with those two on the pitch, and the likes of Higuain and Dybala to bring on ... well, it's going to be a bumpy ride. I am very hopeful though. A very strong possibility that a draw takes us through too, and so we don't have to go too gung-ho to try and win the game, so guess we'll see how it goes. Deinitely. No way Iceland will beat Croatia 2/3-0 Croatia will rest players, Iceland will be firing on all cylinders. Wouldn't put it past them. They're not very good though I mean, they're a scrappy and physical side and don't have much individual brilliance bar Gylfi. But they literally qualified ahead of Croatia in the qualifiers, so have no doubt they're able to beat a weakened Croatia side, especially as they beat a strong Croatia side in the qualifiers to qualify ahead of them.

Seems like Kinnear was right about at least one thing.

Wish we signed players so we could be in for Lozano.
