That said, if I'm so wrong, do explain how it's not a symbolic act for a footballer to take home a ball used in a match where he's scored a hat-trick. It's a memory of the time he scored a hat-trick. If he scored all, one or none of the goals in the match with the ball he's taking home doesn't make it any less symbolic for the player as the intended purpose is either to serve as a memory of the event and/or showcasing it as a symbol of said event.

In what world would you ever think it's not? FFS in the old days i think they used one ball most of the times. But don't let allowing yourself to think about it for a moment stop you from jumping on it for the lols; life's too short. It's always been a fucking symbolic act. That there's multi-ball systems in use in certain competitions now doesn't change that. It's literally always been symbolism ffs.

Will watch as many Fulham games this season as I can to feel what it’s like watching a club that wants to compete.

He is. Reason he went on a free and nobody touched him but Palace is simply that he wanted an extortionate amount of money whilst not really having proven himself yet. Think he's on something ludicrous as £220k a week at Palace now.

I like this idea. Even if only a few hundred sent a letter it'd make a statement. Feel a bit bad for his postman though. Be better if a few hundred people sent him a shit parcel in the post http://www.sendshit.co.uk/

I know prices are mental but we will not get £30m for Mitro ffs. Bought him for £13 million and his value has not exactly decreased. I concur, but we will not get £30m for Mitro. There is literally no chance, I'm sorry. Vehemently disagree given that we got £35 million for Carroll before prices even began to get as ridiculous as today. Assuming he does well at the WC his price would increase even more. The only reason we wouldn't be able to get £30m for him under those circumstances would be the incompetence of our club negotiating with other clubs, which to be fair, is very possible. I'll bet you £100 right now Mitro doesn't go for more than £30m. Or a tenner. Whatever you want but it's not happening. £100 it is Void if he stays, naturally. It's a bet then! heyup Kaiz, cheque in the post? PM me your deets.

Thought we weren't going for any WC players?

It’s a decent enough standard league these days.

I like how it's Pip and Shak he's arguing with.

Ings was 1 in 3.2 at Burnley, and has been 1 in 6.25 at Liverpool. Just no. Please no.

I'm just amazed at the sheer genius of Gianfranco Shola.

Why have they done that? Seems well strange No idea. A unified press corps over here is rinsing the Rosenborg board for the decision, and now there's even more backlash as the new coach said he was offered the job before they had sacked the the manager. On top of this is the treatment of the assistant manager, Erik Hoftun, who had been at the club for 22 years - first as a player, then coach, then director of football and then assistant manager. He got the news through the media and nobody from the board called him, they made the manager they sacked do that The entire process is beyond baffling. Club might even get a massive fine from the Norwegian government now for breaking laws regarding how to sack an employee.

If anybody want to make some money, I'd go -2 on Celtic against Rosenborg tomorrow. Rosenborg just sacked their manager after three straight league titles and two cup titles out of three. Two points behind the team leading the league at the moment. Players appealing against the board threatening to strike if the manager isn't reinstated, as well as thousands of fans protesting outside the stadium. Think it will be an absolute slaughter tomorrow.

I wouldn't, but that's 'cause I personally don't rate Ings at all.

Fucking hell. Is Odin a joke account? Takes one to know one So is he, then?

I feel like Rafa doesn't base things on one single match, though.
