  1. "Hello!" "World Cup!" "Champions League!" "Lyon!"
  2. What will the away ground be like? The Faroese will play away at Lerkendal, so it'll be a fairly average European stadium.
  3. Watching Rosenborg play a Faroe side, two sides of the stadium is just grass with sheep grazing on it.
  4. Well I wouldn't really call it ridiculous. It's supply and demand. If there was enough demand from people to go to the games and spending money on the team then they would all get paid well Yeah, I mean the fact that's the case is what's ridiculous though. It's the biggest sport in England and the women's side of it is pretty much non-existent in comparison to the men's. I mean I don't expect them to be drawing in 40k crowds and earning £20k a week but it's obvious it could be far better than it is, I'm not sure what the Germans (or the Americans) do differently like, I haven't really read up on it. Can't speak for the Germans, but there were opportunities for women in football in the U.S. long before most other countries. Ironically, the thing that has arguably hindered the men's game is largely responsible for developing the women's game in the U.S., and that's the university football system. Didn't soccer use to have the rep as a "girl's game" back in the day as well?
  5. Go Norwegian teams, bring home them coefficients!
  6. Japan was the better team. Fact. So you just wanted to tell us you know nothing about football then?
  7. England were the best team by far, goes for tactics as well as Japan clearly had none. Also, it is "I am" or "I'm", not "am".
  8. Why? He would be a waste of space, cost a lot and score very little. He'd also upset the team with his big time act. He's exactly what we don't want. As long as Ashley is here this club is nothing. If we had some crazy fucker like Mario we'd at least be entertained by his antics.
  9. 'Hey jack want to see a snap of my cunt kid?'

  11. I was talking about the England - Japan game. The standard in general has been a lot better than previous WCs for Women, but that match was a horror show. I guess I can understand why the passing and such is below Conference standard in the sense that most of these girls have jobs on the side and can't train every day on passing and such like most male clubs can. If we're striving for equality the top flight female leagues in countries other than Germany and such need to have an economy which allows the girls to solely focus on their football.
  12. I just thought the entire match was horrible and nobody could pass a simple ball to another player for some reason. It was like watching the World Cup in throw-ins.
  13. Shame. Why can't women pass the ball though? There's no logical reason why they can't pass the ball as well as males. So confusing.
  14. But then their debt won't be paid off? So euro takes the hit to oust them? Or is that not right? If Greece decides they're not paying then Euros should go up because it's basically reducing the amount of Euros potentially circulating. Deflation makes the currency appreciate. This isn't taking into the effect of risk off behaviour which will mean European investors buy more of German bonds. Except it's the opposite that happens. If the Greeks no longer use Euros, but the same amount of Euros are in circulation, it means the amount of Euros in regards to the population will be bigger. Thus there will be inflation of the currency. Sorry, but if the Greeks stop using the Euro then a significant chunk of their debt in Euros will be written off, which is deflation. And the amount of debt that they have is a lot compared to the Euros that would normally circulate in Greece. Their debt would have to be repaid in its original currency, not in Drachma. Regardless, the uncertainty has already had an effect on the Euro value and it will most likely continue a while after a Grexit until we see what the effect the Grexit will have on the eurozone. This is before even contemplating on the decreased stock value of eurozone countries if the Greeks leave.
  15. Ethi third from bottom?

  18. Best English shirt so far tbh You can't say anything until you've seen it with a sponsor. Makes the world of difference. Tbf, he did say "so far". So far it doesn't have a sponsor.
  19. Carlgren is gonna have a good future I think. These Swedish youths look so fucking talented it boils my piss.
  20. Owned by JD Sports, which in turn is owned 13% by Sports Direct
  21. Leicster is quite a boring club tbh. Far more interesting clubs that could be in the PL.
  22. Ronaldinho signs for Antalyaspor in Turkey, joining Blink 1Eto'o.
