Never really been much into individual worship of a footballer. As a kid the only thing that came close would be Shearer and Filippo Inzaghi, with Roar Strand thrown into the mix from watching Rosenborg. Beyond that I absolutely still worship Hatem Ben Arfa. I have a soft spot for Oguchi Onyewu and Landon Donovan from my good old FIFA playing years as I'd be playing with the US national side with mates and we'd have tons of internal jokes. Soft spot for our very own Jonas as well. Keegan and SBR are also next level, but not as players for me. Egil Olsen as well for what he did to Norway in the 90s.

Played just as boring at the EC, if you want to judge by entertainment value as a merit and not results. Draws against Italy and Germany wouldn't be bad results on their own so the results are still there.

Kjetil Knutsen looks off to Blackburn from Bodø/Glimt, their new DoF had his last day on the job as DoF of Bodø/Glmit last week.

I hate how the Norway manager keeps impressing me with his press conference statments 'cause I don't want to like him. Anyway: "How did Haaland react to being substituted?" "He's a professional player and I am the manager, it's my decision and he respects that. We don't have any Mbappes so I'm still the one in charge."
-
International matches usually tends to be a massive win, but this round? Spain fucking losing to the Czech fucking Republic and more favourites losing.
-
Haaland is quite good.
-
Nothing wrong with that being a pen, it'd have been a free kick anywhere else on the pitch which means it's a penalty if done in the box. Krafth is gonna Krafth.

The Norway manager replied greatly to a question at the pre-match press conference against Serbia today when asked why he hadn't picked a Norwegian striker that was on fire for Red Star Belgrade for the squad. "Have you heard of Erling Haaland?" "Yes." "There's your answer."

He left a cushy job and what would have been a cushy payoff if sacked and brought international attention to the issue (and himself, admittedly).

Regardless of if he thought it'd be good PR for himself or not, it was the right thing to do and I wish more people did what he did - even if they do it for their own selfish reasons - as it sets a proper example that racism won't be tolerated. Credit where credit is due.

Reall sad Wrexham didn't make it. Wanted to do a League Two to Prem FM game with them next season.

RB Sports & Media owns 10% of the club. RB being Reuben Brothers.

I wear NUFC shirts (and other etc sports shirts) when lounging at home or when working out. Don't go out in public with it.

Not really a rumour or anything, but I enjoyed this quote from Norway manager StĂĄle Solbakken about the Mbappe transfer: "It surely wasn't between just Real Madrid and PSG, he'd have all the biggest clubs in the world after him. Clubs like Man City, Barcelona, Juventus, Newcastle and more would have been on high alert when a player of that quality was available."

I don't get why anyone would care about what a League One team does
-
Ah yes, Brentford, famously known for being in the PL all the time rather than this season being their first in the English top division in 74 years
-
Don't fathom how Unibet accepted that as color wise that is the color of their main opponent in the European market, Betsson. You don't want to make that association marketing wise.
-
Not to forget that it would be a horrible state of mind to take a job thinking you couldn't do the job well enough to not get sacked. Not that he won't know there's a higher chance at a team like Watford, but I mean, it'd be dumb if he didn't go for it - have some faith in your own abilities.

@54 coming in here all fancy, stealing my thunder with his flashy colorful embedded tweet post that just says what I said in a longer way
-
Haaland to City being announced this week apparently.
-
Won the league in Argentina and the US. Named Best Newcomer of the Year in the MLS and in the Best XI two years running. Doesn't mean it would translate to the PL but enough there to feel excitement, especially seeing youtube videos him back then.

So the HT experts in the Norwegian studio essentially says ASM is to blame for almost all chances created by City as he doesn't pay attention and leaves tons of space on the flank for City to utilize and expose.
