So these 13 clubs share 1.3 Billion supporters. The world has 6.9 Billion inhabitants. That means pretty much 1 in 5 of every human supports one of these 13 teams.

I think the main issue with an open system in the US would be attendances/economy for non-top flight clubs. It's a fucking massive country, and without secured income and shit like that not a lot of clubs will have the chance to be competitive on a national level. Would probably have to divide into regional leagues already on the third tier.

Only Sweden, and they have to beat the Dutch.
