All the best players being attracted to Barca and Real Madrid isn't a great situation either. Personally I remember the days when the Dutch teams were actually seen as a threat, there were genuinely good teams from all sorts of leagues, but those leagues and many famous clubs have been crushed by the modern game. To me it is strange to complain about the talent being more spread out, I think football was better back then. Not that PSG jizzing money about is going to bring back the good old days when the CL was interesting.

From a footballing point of view I really don't find it a crazy move, yeah it would be better if he wasn't going to France, but if PSG go on to win the CL with him as the main man, then it will have been worth it. Plus he's already going down as a Brazil legend, which will be the main thing for him.

I don't know whether to be outraged at PSG's dodgy practices or to laugh because it's upsetting Barca and Real Madrid.

And when the England women's football/cricket/rugby teams are successful it shouldn't be used as a tool to sneer at the men's teams. The sneer goes both ways.

Women's football is obviously improving, but in recent times some of the best teams have lost heavily to local boys teams. It's probably never going to be a fair comparison.

They're the best local rivals anyone could hope for, we are blessed.

He's a young defender that had a bad time at a laughably incompetent football club, I won't hold it against him too much given his record in Spain's youth system. Some people that know what they're doing obviously think he has talent.

I don't even rate Walker that highly, he's just a decent player to me. The sport has become a parody of itself.

I think either he has always had dreams of being a french league champion or PSG offered more money. More money is a legit reason to pick a club, players should just say it, I fucking would.

I haven't a fucking clue these days either. Players I've never heard of are going for tens of millions, and players I have heard of and think are just ok are going for massive amounts. I don't know wtf to think about transfers, I feel like a lost old man.

I can't handle the money in the game these days. Clubs seems so susceptible to hype, spend a season saying a player is amazing and worth £30m and someone will come along and pay it. We should try it with Colback as an experiment, bring back the ginger Pirlo hype.

I don't like it simply because I get the impression most people wanting to takeover football clubs are no good, productive takeovers seem rare.

We may as well just bring Krul back, it sounds like they've had similarly shit seasons on loan.
