I realized that i was there when he scored both his first and last goal for the club, i remember that Palace game where he got his first goal for us i was complaining about how useless he is then Carroll nodded it down to him and he won us the game. I've been one of his biggest critics on here and honestly think he's one of the dumbest footballers I've ever seen, so terrible that he was the gold standard for shit wingers, and then he had his purple patch and helped take us to the Champions league so in a way he managed to ensure he will be remembered fondly here, we should've upgraded him a long time ago but now that he's gone i wish him nothing but the best.

To be fair Vini Jr wasn't that good when he first started, they seem to buy these players with a long term strategy and persist with them until they make it.

His lack of end product is alarming, he's got pretty much everything you need in the defensive part but when we go forward he's so poor, had a chance early in the game from the right and despite having multiple options to cross too he picked out their defender.

He was really on it today, even when those around him get slow he's down who's always trying to get the ball and make things happen.

Kelly isn't physical enough for a CB and isn't technical enough for an LB, that's the main problem and he's clearly just been brought on because of the Howe connection.

If you join a company as a manager because you had success at a previous job, then you start trying to implement the same formula on different staff and a different set-up, but you can see clearly it doesn't work, its on you to adapt to the new environment, you can't just go back to your boss and say i will not change who i am and i have to force them to follow my method even though they are not equipped to do so, and then say they are all terrible and the situation is awful. Even Ruud managed to get something out of them, when you look at their squad these are all players bought for 50m+, it's not like Howe having to do it with Sean Longstaff and Jacob Murphy, yet Amorim is being stubborn and INEOS hired him with no plan to back him up. Its clear that the main problem are the owners but he is doing little to help himself.
