Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)
Newcastle Fan replied to Rich's topic in Football
Keep in mind he's one of the key reasons for this. -
Its very frustrating that he seems to always struggle to find a good balance to the team, when he fixes the attack the defense goes shit and when he fixes the defense the attack goes shit, our midfield was finally looking good and he then rotated it. He has a few easier games coming up now and its a big chance to turn things around, if we don't improve this month i think his days are numbered.

Didn't he spend months trying to convince us they have a plan and know what they are doing? -

Their loss and this news actually cheered me up, no matter how bad its getting for us they seem to always be doing worse -
He's obviously still working his way to full fitness but i think he'll start the Brentford cup game, hopefully he'll be fully fit by then and ready to help our cause.
-
At this point its more worthwhile to give the likes of Sanusi some minutes than use him.
-
All strikers miss, Haaland had the most big chances missed last season, Isak is one of the best strikers in the world and he looks fired up lately, but he won't be able to help us much if we are conceding 3+ goals a game.
-
He's good and will only get better but i would like to see more of Trippier in the upcoming period as we need more quality on the ball, will be good to rotate between both in the busy period ahead.

Resting Tonali dosn't make much sense. -
Just love him, we really need to stop looking for a player that has his qualities as once he's gone he will be very hard to replace.
-
Reading on X and every fan from another club watching this (including Liverpool) are saying they wish they had him as their striker. tells you all you need to know really.
-
Very Enjoyable performance from him today, looking forward for more of this going forward.
-
He's very frustrating at the moment but that was one of his better games, his final product and decision making still needs to improve but hopefully he can build on this performance.
-
Amazing game of football, why he was in such a hurry to blow the whistle is beyond me.

I'll be honest i didn't know a club called Bromley existed until we drew them -
Played in a random reserves match a few weeks back but then disappeared again.

Amazing draw that, should be a good one! -
Was it a soft goal? I thought the header came at him fast from very close range.
-
Agree, always looks top class for Italy.
-
Seemed to be mostly signed because Eddie knows him rather that actually being any good for the team.
-
Not a single shot on target second half.
-
First half you can say it was 50/50 and we could've scored for a few chances but second half was fucking amateur hour coaching, even the players looked confused with the changes and we haven't had a single shot on target,
-
He's been quite poor for us this season, wouldn't mind seeing him dropped.
-
He looks equally very average in both position, doesn't have a single stand out ability.
