6ft 6 striker really needs to work on his heading. So soft today.
-
Not bad for a free agent.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season
Newcastle Fan replied to a topic in Football
Agreed. -
Arsenal were much better than us last season but we won both games because Isak was terrorizing them.
-
Tactically we are fine, but we are now at the highest level of football so the abillities of the players you bring in are really important, put a better striker in Wissa's player and we win yesterday, put a better player in Elanga's place and we have a few more points on the table. I am afraid Eddie taking over transfers and paying over the odds for average players has set us back this year so far.
-
Really disappointing that we had 55m to spend on a striker and he's the best we could come up with.

What the fuck is Wissa doing? -
Happy with that, he's a class option to have in the back.

Will be happy to play the amateur side that played palace at home. -
we are Incredibly lucky that he was able to get up and continue playing, as well as score a cool penalty for us. hope he has a good recovery day or so before the next game.
-
It was clear even on TV, Willock ignored a great chance to put him through.
-
Makes me wonder why did we not try him as a striker instead of wasting our time putting Gordon there when we had no one
-
He's seen with a big smile in the team photo so i hope its not as serious as its sounding.
-
Either our medical team need to get their shit togther or he is just very unlucky this season.
-
Superb when he came on and took both his penalties very well. Still don't understand how he missed that last second chance though.
-
As we didn't lose today was a good opportunity to get him up to speed a bit, he looked knackered at the end but got over the line injury free unlike Tino so he will be a useful option in the next few games.
-
Fair enough maybe my wording was wrong as i know Wissa is a great character and wants to do well, but for a 55m striker wearing number 9 i didn't feel he was giving it to sort of effort your see the likes of Tonali, Bruno, even Gordon was giving at the game, felt like he wasn't aggressive enough in making runs in the box or causing problems to their team.
-
What a fucking beast of a performance today, well done.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)
Newcastle Fan replied to Ronson333's topic in Football
First time i see him less composed when he came on to that mess, but then quickly managed to find his feet, how fucking fast was he for that recovery run? -
Another game of nothing for me, he just does the same things Willock used to do for us, and Joe at least had a goal threat in him. it looked clear today we needed something with the ability to unlock teams with a pass or a run rather than another runner.
-
I will always be grateful for his past contributions for us, but he used to make up for what he lacks in technical ability with hard work and energy, his performance today was truly pathetic.
-
We got so much better when he came on, even the best players in history missed penalties and i'm glad his didn't end up costing us.
