I was waiting for him to come on when we were looking tired, a fit and ready Willock is just who you need on against tired legs.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
Newcastle Fan replied to Rich's topic in Football
Conference league? ahh dammit i thought we secured Europa league. Anyway i'm happy with the guarantee of europian football, now lets aim for the top competition! -
Would've loved for him to come on at the end, but like all the other local lads I'm so pleased he got to be a part of this.
-
Should be starting for the foreseeable future, showed up when it mattered and didn't let us down, very pleased for him.
-
Incredible today, so so impressed with him and he didn't deserve to lose his clean sheet towards the end.
-
Last season he had the lowest point of his career, today he's won his first ever cup title, he's been immense in this cup run and hope we continue to see him in our midfield for years to come.
-
His first game for us was losing to league two side in the cup while we are down and almost out in the relegation zone, today he puts on a master class as we beat the league leaders in a cup final, i don't need to say much more about how transformative he's been for us.
-
in a big occasion like this you need a warrior like him to lead the way, what a performance today and can't believe this is the same Striker that i absloutly hated seeing on the pitch a few years ago. I've voted him our player of the season for the last two years and he's honestly been one of my favorite football turnaround stories of all time.
-
Run the vote and he will be the best defender in our history.
-
I was listening to him and Bruno's interview about the game, and the calmness and self belief they both showed is exactly what elite level athletes and people are all about, he's one of the best if not the best striker in the world right now and i really hope we continue to progress and win with him up top.
-
I believe we still have better things coming our way, but no matter what happens for there he will forever be a legend and an icon of our club, well done to him and honestly couldn't have happened to a nicer and more well rounded manager and person. everything about his is class and it had me tearing when i saw he had a tear in his eyes while seeing our fans.
-
Absolute class that they gave him credit, he was there when we were in the championship and he was there when we were in the champions league, and now he's seen us lift a trophy.
-
That was a performance like no other, he's made one of the best players in the world disappear and showed just how good he was.

[LCF] Newcastle United 2-1 Liverpool - NUFC LEAGUE CUP WINNERS
Newcastle Fan replied to 54's topic in Football
All of us waited all our lives for this, and we stuck through the worst of times and can't think of any club/fans that deserve this more. I have a headache and still can't believe it really happened, i'm 100% sure better things will come under this ownership but this to me will always matter more than most. -
What a fucking story, what a performance today, what a man. Honestly i remember how happy i was for him and us when he scored against PSG, but this just takes it to another level.
-
Well fucking done lad, you can see he was nervous and was not at all playing well first half, second half he was much better and that leap to assist Isak will forever be in our club's history.
-
If it stays like the just put his face on the angel of the north.
-
Come on Tino son, keep it up for second half.
-
His performance in the first half will be key, show them Sandro!

Keep Calm Keep Calm Keep Calm. Need Isak and Murphy to turn up and hit them on the break. -
Kubo looked very average over the two legs so far.
-
We couldn't have hoped for better outcome.
-
Captain's performance and goal today
-
Good assist but still seems a bit away from full sharpness today.
