We can generate decent income and extra wage budget from selling the likes of Lewis and Almiron, i'm sure we have at least 8-9 players than we can let go off easily, and if we sign 5-6 good players like we did in January it will help us massively improve, we don't need to spend big but spend smart and identify targets that will make us a better team.
-
Like i said they've seemed to have finally assembled a team that can work in this division, interesting to see how they will fare next year in the championship.
-
To be honest this is the best League One sunderland side i've seen, they have a good combination of physicality and technical ability and a really good striker upfront. If they get past this game they are surely favorites to go up.

Harry Kane is a wonderful footballer, would really like to see him in another team.
-
I would bring him to our first team to be honest, Almiron, Murphy and others are all not that good and if he can rise up to the occasion like he did in League two we could have some player on our hands.
-
Really well done to them, they seem to have canny fans, well done to Anderson as well who have secured legendary status there in his one season.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

First team for him next season, no two ways about it. -
Burnley seem to be in big trouble now. they had so many chances in that first half but couldn't score, Dwight McNiel has played 34 games this season and only managed 1 assist and 0 goals, missed a sitter today.
-
Boro miss out on a play-off spot, still annoyed with them for having a go at us when the take over happened. hopefully they will stay a division or more below us for the foreseeable future.
-
Fucking can't wait for us to be back in Europe, not sure if my nerves can take it as i remember being a mess when we played Benfica with Pardew, but hopefully this time around we will be there to do some damage to others.
-
Very Strange, but i guess having him as a squad player would be a good option since he can play in multiple positions.
-
City could've probably got Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez and had money to spare for the price they spent on Jack Grealish, they've shot themselves in the foot at the start of the season and they were made the pay for it in recent times.
-
I wouldn't want him now to be honest, he would've helped us in the position we were in at the start of the year but going forward we should be looking at better quality players.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

Word for Word what he said when he did the same with us -
He seemed frustrated today with the lack of movement and quality of those around him, big job in the summer to build the team around the likes of him and Trips.
-
Shouldn't consider him as a serious attacking option, the midfield is where he should stay from now on.
-
Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Looks tired, frustrated, and out of ideas. Might be good to give him the rest of the season off and have him back fresh for next year. -
I don't mind losing to them at this stage but the manner of the defeat was really frustrating, we seemed to be shitting ourselves when attacking them and when trying to defend and we were lucky it wasn't more, midfield was completely gone for a while as well, Howe needs to look at this and see how we can compete more against teams of this caliber next season.
-
Not a foul at all, we really need to cut this shit out of our game.
-
Fully Deserved and hope he continues to play a part in our success in the future.
-
Counted Remy as ours since he played that season with us.
-
Random fact but in the 2014 world cup we had more players in the french squad than any other team
-
A lot of people are saying its a pen but i don't see it, knowing what Gordan is like he was trying to buy that, ran in front of the player and caused the contact then fell, he wasn't interested much in getting to the ball.
-
That Allan stat is mad, 73 minutes on the pitch as a midfielder and not one pass completed, i guess they were so frightened of Liverpool's press they just decided to surpass the midfield.
-
Leeds look like they are in trouble too, very tough games coming up.
