Is it fair to say most of the blame for not preparing the team well for this season falls on him?

Wish you didn't share that picture, like i've said previously in this thread not replacing him with someone better has costed us big time this season.

He really needs to cut the diving thing and just try and stay on his feet and make something happen.

I don't think he's prepared us well for this season, i understand buliding and having a long-term plan but needed to focus on a huge season in front of him first.

Another shit performance, lots of people said not getting a proper player in his position will cost us this season and it did, don't know how Ashworth and co Didn't see this coming

How the fuck was the decision to keep him as an option made?

What the fuck is wrong with him lately.

They seem reluctant to put him on for too long, he didn't have much to do when he did but its good to see him back on the pitch.

I noticed today his running off the ball isn't very intelligent, either when pressing or when we have the ball, once he fixes that aspect he'll be even more of a threat to other teams.

Wasn't happy with him on Wednsday but thought today he was incredible, there was a tribute to him in the stands and he did not put a foot wrong in the game, won everything in the air.

Fucking bossed the midfield today and i would say him and Lascelles were our star players.

The match day program had a feature about him and i love how level headed his interview sounded, very happy i got to witness his first goal, was fantastic today.

Superb tonight, hardley put a foot wrong and was impressive both at the back and going forward.

Don't get too watch a lot of games at SJP due to living abroad, but i remember when i used to watch Ben Arfa week in and out, and fuck me Miggy is far from that level, was watching him in the stadium today and the way he moves and everything he does is terrible, bad movement, bad decision making, bad balls, all he does is run a lot, even on a bright day like today replacing him is a priority and you have to question why it wasn't done in the summer.

Diaby would've made a world of difference to our team, he can use his right foot for once.

I'm really disappointed with that second half, i was hoping we would keep focused but it really did show how much experience matters at this level, they were so calm and composed and towards the end they could've scored a few more goals, we just ran out of steam.

Love his effort but i can't wait for the day where his lack of quality is no longer letting us down on big occasions.
