We saw both our good side and our bad side on steroids in this game, its definitely two points dropped at a bad time but another important lesson in what we need to work on to improve. -
To be fair when you look at his goal contributions this season he's got the most assists in the league, so you could excuse him going forward but we need to have someone else cover him when he does that.
-
Should've also assisted the winner if Murphy had better finishing.
-
I didn't see what happened that made him injured? That aside i don't think he's fully capable of playing as a striker, much better on the wing feeding off a striker.
-
A goal after that lengthy return is a very positive sign, hope he can bulid on that.
-
Not his best game today but considring he came back from a long term injury and right away started three games i can't be too harsh on him, brings far more to the team than Almiron.
-
I understand what he brings to the team but Eddie needs to learn when to use each player, today was one of the worst games i've seen him have for us.
-
What a terrible keeper he was for us, had an ok career afterwards and even seen him start a few for Belgium last year.
-
I know ffp constrain us a lot but seeing Villa sign someone like Morgan Rogers who will add something to their side makes me feel like we should at least and try and get a decent loan option upfront or in midfield as we are an injury or two away from starting Matt Ritchie in 2024. maybe next time we should try and not to spend too much on one player like Tonali and try to enhance the depth of the squad.

Such a shame he wasn't fit earlier, lovely player to have at the moment.

Did very well and happy to see him coming off when he did as he looked shatterd. -
Did really good today but still felt like he needs to start learning to be more leathal infront of goal, intrested to see how he'll lead the line on saturday.
-
His biggest assist this season could be if he leaves for a good fee, no point really in him staying as we simply can't consider him a starting player at his level, his best bet will be to stay and be a sub but why do that when you can earn crazy money in Saudi and start every game.

Fulham 0-2 Newcastle United (FA Cup) - 27/01/24

We looked very rusty and poor with the ball today but took our chances and got the job done which is all that matters, hopefully we'll see a rise in levels against Villa. Best thing about today was the fans, went through all the classics in the second half and you could hear them loud and clear all game. -

That first half save was as good as a goal on the other end, well done to him for keeping the clean sheet tonight. -
Shit game by his standard but happy it was this game that he decided to be shit at, hopefully will help him get some sharpness ahead of a tough test at Villa!

The Kid is way too cool, looked more composed on and off the ball than Bruno and Longstaff today. -
How refreshing was it seeing our right winger beat a man and put the ball in the box a few times, rather than turn back and hope Tripper is around to help because he dosn't have a clue what to do with his right foot.

Savage looked terrible at pre-season, didn't realise Camerom was Duncan Ferguson's kid.

Their Right Back got injured yesterday, time for a panic 25m bid.
