well you've answered your own question in the first line there. I agree with that but people suddenly started to talk about him as if he was the second coming of Ben Arfa, he hardly impacts game for us and just runs around all game with little end product.

I fail to see why people are standing up to him so strongly other than the fact that he's better than Joelinton and Hendrick, reality is he played a large number of games for us and hardly made an impact, unless he starts improving on his old self i'd rather start Fraser.

With him and Hendrick on the side it sometimes felt like we were playing with 9 men.

He's been quite good and was unlucky to get injured today, we should've really took him off.

Jonjo at least tries to pass the ball forward and create something, Jeff Hendrick next to him absolutely does nothing week in week out.

I have never seen a premier league footballer plays the way he does. he just walks around and kicks the ball to the first player in-front of him then continues to walk around, he doesn't tackle, he doesn't shoot, i doubt i've seen him even try a run since he joined us

Our tactic seems to be to try and give the ball to ASM and hope he dribbles past their whole team? I still don't know what sort of footballer Jeff Hendrick is or what his job in the team is.

Judging by how shit our U-23 have been lately he will maybe try and bring something different to the table.

Every time i see him he seems to be missing sitters and letting his team down, his goal scoring record says otherwise but i think like you i only catch him on his off days.

Considering it was pissing down and we were playing a team that plays half football half rugby i thought he did quite well.

So what do people think of him so far? he puts in a shift but seems to posses no quality whatsoever, looks like a league 1/championship player at best.

Played really well when he came on and helped us secure the three points, was getting in dangerous positions all the time.

People were already bashing him a few pages ago he's top quality and at games like this players like him make all the difference.

Its so nice to actually have a proper striker, he gets in all the right positions and seems to have excellent attitude on and off the pitch.

I thought he did really well tonight, held up the ball nicely and created some chances, still looks nowhere near like scoring a goal but maybe now that we don't have to count on him for that he can provide us with something.

He's been really good since he came back to the side, i'm actually not sure i want Dubravka back very quickly, deserves to keep his place.
