  1. If I remember correctly, the booking was for releasing his inner demon all over the pitch, rather than the actual foul that proceeded it.
  2. Actually, thinking of it, he hasn't been up to his original dominance since he that day last February where the Zambians had him laid on the pitch in tears. Maybe that contributed to his emotional instability.
  3. Gignac>Ibrahimovic. The guy has been fantastic all season. It is amazing to watch. This is a brilliant match as well.
  4. He's been a parody of himself this season. Some sort of joke.
  5. The senior players in this team need to forcibly hold Bigirimana down and remove that monstrosity from the top of his head.
  6. You must have missed the first twenty minutes, when couldn't possess the ball more than fifteen seconds and defended corners like inefficient children. It is funny the two title contenders we've played have had their two "best performances of the season" against us. You have to feel it more Newcastle than the other side.
  7. Yeah, I've changed my opinion on this. No one involved with the club seems comfortable with him in goal. Everything he does is two or three times slower than it should be. It's not an indictment of him. At this point in his career, he isn't good enough for this level of football, and unlike some others in the team, he cannot hide.
  8. For all of his talent, Tiote's behavior on the pitch is genuinely stupid.
  9. When the other team is camping around your penalty box, this tends to happen, rubbish. Enough with the contract.
  10. We haven't had meaningful possession at all to this point. The whole match has been in our half.
  11. We have to be aggressive. If we sit back, they'll overwhelm us. Between the crowd and our aggression, Man U need to be the team feeling pressure.
  12. I wouldn't wish financial insolvency on any team, but they need to calm down with that crazy figure. Already too expensive before he's achieved anything of note.
  13. How much would Zaha cost? Rough, uncut diamond,in my estimation. I wonder how Palace are financially. Moses was probably a better prospect and didn't get much for him at all. I think they were in administration?
  14. What do you think about coownership? I've really never understood why it was allowed.
  15. De Bruyne Forgot about him. Must be rubbish to come in as a highly touted young player, only for the club to spend 60 million on younger, better players in the same position. Frankly, having highly paid players like that out on loan generally isn't good policy, but I'm not sure we can really cap the number of loan players. I still think it's wonderful for young players. I'd be more keen on a age limit than an actual limit on the number of players.
  16. You know I support the loan system, man. We should use it more. No reason Shane has been here his whole career.
  17. Disgraceful. Don't know, the Lukaku/Benayoun loans is a bit unsavoury, but most of them are young players off to foreign countries and the lower leagues..
  18. Bad day for Hughton, just watching the Chelsea match and this could become quite a disgraceful score if Chelsea are willing.
  19. I think they'll survive in the end. Just as with last season, they'll be much better once the chaos settles.
  20. Torres is the slowest player I've ever seen. Shoot the ball!!
  21. No matter the allegiance of a British football commentator, all of them have some bizarre crusade against zonal marking. Every single one.
  22. You can say what you'd like about Sunderland, but they have a very talented team and a decent amount of quality about the pitch. There really is no justification for them playing such atrocious football. There style isn't even counter-attacking, they just play scared football.
  23. I agree, we need him here, but this is more because of our deficiency than anything else. As a player, I think it would very beneficial for him to just start every single week as a professional against other professionals. He's never had the opportunity to do this at any point in his career. Even this season, I think he'll consistently be on the bench and will be involved more than before, but I don't really see him becoming a starter, as much as the supporters will want it.
  24. I just hope this boy is more Gareth Bale than Seamus Coleman. The latter never developed his defensive skills to the point that he could be a fullback, but also has struggled a bit attacking as a forward wide player. Still a decent player, but could have done more. I don't think there is a question of him making it as a pro. I personally think he could still do with some seasoning while on loan, but it might be too late for that now.
