If we’re being pragmatic, Isak would have had 1 more season with us, would have been injured and half arsed. The players didn’t want him here, he downed tools last year and is value would have dropped. I’ve been in the keep him camp but, I’m firmly in the get rid and hope his groin snaps on Tuesday morning camp. We must have a replacement lined up and we must be going to overpay. PSR rules have to change.

He basically said his agent approved the contract with no get out and Isak signed it. He then explained that the agents gets say 10% of the total contract worth but the payments to the agent could be completed by say year 3. This then means that certain agents immediately want the next move as they’re not making anymore money from the contract. He was pretty passionate about the situation. Promises mean nothing without it in writing, Newcastle are completely in the right and that Lpool should expect to pay the going rate. Really refreshing to hear.

There’s an agent on Sky Sports now absolutely slaughtering Isak and especially his Agent. Brutal.

Get him out for a 135M package and get Wissa in. My preference would be to keep him for a year but it seems pretty clear that Howe and the team are done with him. Well this is a complete non starter.

You can thank me later. Don’t recall saying a consensus of every Wolves fan. Wissa believes he had an agreement to leave if an offer of 25M came in and there’s plenty saying 40M SJL would be more than fair. There’s no doubt the market is skewed and that’s more than partly down to Isak’s antics. The point I was hoping to make is that we don’t end up losing out by underselling on one hand whilst overpaying on the other. I’m now off down to Wolverhampton High St with my paper and pencil.

The general consensus from Wolves supporters is that we’ve already offered far more than he’s actually worth. Somehow we have to get Isak back in the team and give his best for 1 more season and get Wissa in. We can’t end up in a position where we undersell Isak and poney up over 100M on 2 strikers who’s true value between them is around 65M tops. Isak is fucking us on so many different levels.

From what I’ve seen, he’s average at everything bar being a real unit with little pace or eye for a goal. Not great, he missed a fantastic chance up here last year which could have swayed my opinion on him. Anyone know what Wolves fans think?
