Agree with this. Pardew deserves stick for loads but a good Pro would have knuckled down and proved his manager wrong. I was at Everton for his debut and thought we had a world beater and I'd love nothing more for him to be that. Unfortunately he's not going to fulfill his full potential with us or IMO with anyone else. I've not heard any real dressing room support for him (have heard quite a bit negative) and yes, he has been hung out to dry in some games last season, Soton away for one, however, he's a well paid professional footballer and as a paying supporter I expect more from him, he's let the fans down. He's being made out to be a persecuted, flawed, genius and should be shown compassion and understanding to the nth degree. I'm really not sure what more the club could do. I've posted a couple of comments on RTG expressing sincere thanks. I think a number of our fans had already donated to their fund before the flags and funeral fund. It's a fantastic gesture and a charity will benefit which is great. I donated to the flags and funeral fund - losing a loved one is traumatic, having to then pay for the funeral can be overwhelming if there is no insurance in force. I don't know the circumstances of the 2 lads families but raising money to take care of all costs with any excess going to charity/ plaques etc may be the way to go. I'm not sure what if anything the authorities / airline can do in this respect. Those poor lads are still waiting to be recovered from wherever they lay; it's horrific.

There's a video of the plane coming down taken by someone in a vehicle very very close to where it happened. The plane is going vertically up (from close to the ground), then turns and comes crashing down. The plane is intact prior to crashing and doesn't look like it's been hit (I know the missile is designed to explode prior to impact with the target). It's on the wife's Facebook and I can't verify it but it's truly shocking.
