We all want him to have the ball the most, but they were definitely not ignoring him just because every pass didn't go to the right side. He made a nice little cameo, has to start tonight. He's not fit enough to start; that's the crux of most if this. He should be. If he does start he'll be far less effective than coming on with 20 to go.

My only issue with him is the shocking physical condition he's in for a professional footballer. He has to take responsibility for that, it's not the clubs doing. He's wasting his talent and that is almost criminal. The club isn't going to change; he needs to decide if he's up for it. I'll say again, it's his lack of condition that I'm not happy with - all pro footballers, if nothing else, should be in the best condition they can be.

He's looked quite motivated when given a run of games and you mentioned his fitness earlier, odd isn't it that a player who plays games can be fit and motivated but isn't when he doesn't play. I wonder what we should do about that? What's your point? Prove yourself in training and you have every right to be clammering for a starting place, p*ss about and lose condition then you deserve nothing. Seriously, give him a starting place just now and he'd be taken of before half time, he'd been on for 5 minutes today, chased back 15 yards into our half and couldn't make it past the halfway line when we broke forward. People need to forget what a great player he can be and see the reality. That's the kind of attitude that gets Shola game time. You believe Shola proves himself in training? Shola gets on because we're generally pretty useless, BA should be starting every game because he's the best player we've got as opposed to coming on with 20 minutes to go hoping for some magic to change the game. He must have put on 3 stone since he came here.

You seem very sure of this. Got any more details you can share? Just what I've been told and looking at him, his performances and his team mates it strikes more than a cord of truth from what I've seen on the pitch. He's the size of a young Gazza now or Tommy Cassidy on a bad day. You can't let yourself go like that and keep respect within the squad. I love the bloke, but he's having a laugh at the moment .

There's unrest within the squad about BA's attitude and unless he bucks his ideas up he needs to go for his own good. He's a fantastic player completely pissing his best years away. If we can't motivate him we should move him on. I'd rather watch him be brilliant for some other team than be a fraud for us. It's criminal what's happening.
  7. Completely ineffective today. Not sure whether it was his fault.

As much as I love BA he is currently a disgrace as a professional footballer. He is so unfit it is laughable; it's time to get serious with him, he still has a great change of pace of 10 yards but fuck he's blowing out his arse for the next 10 minutes. I thought I was going to run on the pitch with oxygen for him at one point. Honestly, he should be embarrassed with the state he's got himself in.
  9. Ramires actually kept his leg up to do that. Dirty git
  10. Forgot to tape the inter match, would love to see it again. I was there and watching our bit fill up was something else. Was on Keith's trip, big white jumbo out of Newcastle; fantastic

Oh dear, do they still want to swap seasons with us?
  12. Of course he should; he can't manage with any authority after what he's done. It's not like it's out if character, he's shagged players wives (allegedly), taunted other managers, pushed officials. The man is an embarrassment.
  13. Can we sack him for gross misconduct/ bringing the club into disrepute.

Looking at RTG it would seem that most of them have never been on a train or to London before. If it wasn't for their arsehole element I'd wan them to win. I've no fondness for Man C and have a couple of mates going down (one of who I went to the Sland/ Norwich final with.
  15. He was an accident waiting to happen for the first 25 minutes or so. All over the place and nervous as hell. Gouffran had a right go at him when he could see what was happening and should have been helping him out.
  16. He was chasing the ball most of the game and had a few easy, misplaced passes in the first half. No Cabaye for sure, I'm not sure he's got a long term player for us. He simply doesn't have the build required for the PL and that severely restricts where and how we can best use him. He needs to up his game to be anything more than a fringe player.
  17. Dear me, Woodgate was far better than Colo. If he'd stated fit he'd have been one if England's best. When we signed him the people at Leeds all agreed Man U had signed the wrong defender. I can remember back to the mid 70's and Woodgate stands head and shoulders over any other defender I've seen. He was majestic. Everything was so easy for him. Colo is a completely different player to the one we first seen play for us but honestly, he's not in Woodgate's class.

Best fans in the NE. They are clamouring for LC Final tickets, pubs must be chocker block today.

    Kevin Keegan

Happy Birthday. Still can't believe that he signed for us as a player. We were utter garbage, going nowhere and somehow the club and S&N pulled the biggest ever rabbit out of the hat. It was the catalyst to all that followed. He was the model pro for us. We shouldn't have expected anything less. I read a story that he damaged his thigh and he trained that hard that he developed a separate, additional, if you like compensatory muscle. It was quite remarkable how the club stirred and came alive .
  20. He must be wondering why the hell he came here. I have no idea how good he is but the way we are playing isn't going to give him any chance to shine. There is collective blame for what is happening on the pitch, no one player should be singled out, not Saylor, not Sammy, collectively, last night, there wasn't a team.

Did Shearer not get relegated at Villa with the rest of us?
  22. We did ok in the first half and we're undone by 2 good goals (albeit Santon had a bit of a mare with the first). If Sissoko's 2nd touch wasn't nearly always a tackle we may have equalised. Benny is so out of form but I think we need to try and play him through it, largely because we've got no squad depth. It's crazy how we've killed our season stone dead. I can see a very painful summer/ preseason coming up, if I were one of the better players there I'd be telling my agent right now "I'm a footballer, get me out of here". There's really no middle ground with us.
