It's not even worth talking about renaming the club; it'll never happen. Who calls the stands what? It's the Leazes, Gallowgate, East Stand & Milburn for me. The only reason it's the Milburn for me is it just used to be the West Stand or Main Stand in its old guise. Those wooden seats couldn't half make a racket. It's amazing looking back at photos showing the East Stand standing taller than the Leazes End (with its roof) - the Leazes always seemed massive.

Everything went right for Spurs but we were way off the pace. On another day we would have lost at Blackburn so I'll take the rough with the smooth. As a team we were too far apart, showed a lack of movement and didn't track the opposition. Cabaye and Tiote would have made some difference but we'd have still lost. We have a chronic lack of pace at the back. There's no doubt that come the summer we need a centre half with pace and a right back. Two huge games coming up.

Been mentioned before but standing at matches. Those who haven't stood in the Leazes when it was the Leazes or the Gallowgate you have no idea what you've missed. The smell of the brewery has been mentioned, the cinder track, the peanuts and boiled sweets. Queuing at the turnstile wondering whether you'd get in, running to another turnstile when yours had closed. Running to Worswick St Bus Station after the game to make sure you'd get on the first bus. Nostalgic, but all that was great. Towards the end of that time and when Keegan was playing, we played Charlton and it was on Motd, we were crap and it absolutely pissed down. We scored 2 late goals and the steam that came off the crowd was unbelievable, possibly the wettest I've ever been at a game. Those times will never return.

He couldn't tackle to save his life and there is no doubt that some of his attempts at tackling were reckless but he wasn't a coward. He's had some awful injuries and anybody coming back from a leg break like he had deserves credit. I wish him all the best. He did pretty well for us in the fizzy pop and he was having a good game against the scum when he was on the wrong end of a shocking challenge and had to come off. If you saw him when he was at Leeds you'd know the lad could play football.

Thats as easy as it is ever going to be, could have won the cup without playing anyone in the top 6 Lpool in the final of the LC, Lpool away in the next round of the FA Cup.
