It was violent conduct; the ball was no where near. He may not have lashed out full tilt but he knew full well that he was simply kicking the player cos he was there. There is no argument to be made that he could have been going for the ball, if he thought the ball was where he was kicking then he wouldn't make the cub scouts blind team.

I kind of agree but what do you call kicking someone when the ball isn't within playing distance? I'd have to call it violent conduct and it's a red. I can't remember you we played; but it was at home a couple or so seasons ago and we had someone sent off for a kick that wasn't as late as that.
