He was knackered at the end. He was also shit scared of Derry. He needs an extended run in the team and Pardew to show he has confidence in him.
  3. He's a young, daft, lad who imo should be getting better support on and off the pitch. He's partly to blame but I'd put most of the blame elsewhere. I'd take him back for 10M (so long as he took a canny wage cut) and I'd let him show Lpool how poorly they've handled him. If he leaves Lpool and goes anywhere but us his career could completely implode; he'll be a prime target for abuse with most fans expecting him to fail. With say a 25m profit in the bag for us he can never be a failure here even if he comes back and sits on the bench for the next 10 years.

Adrian Durham interviewed on his "show" and suggested that if he added 2 players, say G Cahill & Ba, in the transfer window that Spurs could well win the league. Instead of laughing and declining to discuss others clubs players he simply said that he'd been chasing Cahill for 2 years and that Ba was very interesting. So that was one cnut inviting another cnut to show to everyone what a couple of cnuts they are. Laughable really.
  6. Got 35M for him. If we could buy him back for 10M plus sensible wages it should be a no brainer. Lpool won't sell for that mind. We're hardly blessed with striking options and between the media trying to unsettle Ba and his ticking bomb knee the one genuine goal threat we have is under threat.
  7. He was outside SJP at around 1pm on the day of the Lpool game. Completely out of the picture - good luck to him. Wasted career tbh, I honestly think he'd have been given a chance with England if he'd shown more ambition and left us.
  8. Right lads, let's go out play negative sidewards and backwards football then lump it upfield when they close you down too tightly. When we regain possession ignore any chance of a quick break or catching them out of position, just keep the ball for 5 or so passes, let them get organised and then play a loose pass. Got that; good, let's go out and lose the game them. Job done.
  9. We lost this game before a ball was kicked. Pathetic. What price Cabaye and Colo on FA charges?
  10. We're showing Lpool far too much respect to the point that we are making our own trouble. Downing is having a field day ffs. I really can't see anything other than Lpool winning this at a bit of a canter unless we start believing. I'd get HBA on but he will give away cheap possession in the middle of the park at some point whereas Oberton simply gives it away all of the time in less dangerous areas. Come on.
  11. Oberton is a liability so far; can only imagine he's there to track Jose's forward runs.

We were crying out for his creativity in the 2nd half. There's a problem all right.
  13. FYP 3:47 gets me every time. First time I've actually heard that. How on earth can we be doing so well when we have an owner who makes KK walk and replaces him with that? Depressing as it brings you back to the reality of what a twat we have on our hands.

He was hopelessly exposed at those set pieces, great deliveries but as a team we didn't deal with them. He did lose his man for the 1st and gave away a soft free kick for the last but Gosling set up the 3rd and we had no players blocking their attackers for any of the set piece goals.
  16. The more I think about the match the more I feel we have only ourselves to blame. Set pieces were always going to be key and we failed miserably. No excuse really, I'm sure they all knew what job they were supposed to do but we had no blockers and no one challenging the ball with any conviction. We desparately need Colo back.
  17. What is really disappointing today is that we knew what the threat would be and dealt badly with it. Four very poor goals. You may be able to accept a couple through circumstance but we did nowt to stop it.

He ended up having a mare there.
  19. Judging by Pardew's comments in today's Ronnie he is looking to have Tiote back in contention at around the time of the ANC. I'd dearly love to know what is going on.
