Still think there’s a player in there somewhere but he needs a run of games at a Championship club. And then be sold, he can have a good career somewhere. His end product hasn’t improved.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

He’s also several levels above Dubs and Dubs will cost you points if he has to play. IMO, you’d have been better off getting rid of De Gea and giving Henderson the number 1. -

Really don’t understand why a) Man U would want Dubs and b) why we’d agree to a loan deal. We’d agreed terms with Henderson before Ten Haag came in and Henderson decided he didn’t want any permanent move (so we quickly moved to Pope and Henderson signed for Forest). Man U are now wanting to loan the keeper we wanted Henderson to replace and effectively Dubs will be replacing Henderson at Man U. Absolute bonkers. -
30M and he’s their player.

Red all day

He wants European football, West Ham can offer that but obviously disappointing.
-
If we’re going to improve the squad and offset ffp a bit then any bid over 20M is a no brainer. Form is temporary and all that. I’d wish him all the best but any sale could pave the way for a much better player.
-
Castore are getting serious grief from the club at the moment over supply and quality. No idea what’s written into the contract but it I wouldn’t rule out legal action.
-
He’ll certainly have a replacement for the latest Rolex he handed out.
-
Does he wear any support for his hamstrings? It’s not like we don’t know they’re made of spaghetti.
-
I also think it’s a fair offer, I’m more suggesting that if Watford are after 30M plus add ons we should just walk away now. Hopefully, we know this offer will do it. If not, it’s another possible example of the Newcastle price and we’re somewhat wasting our time. I’m more than happy for us to play the long game to get the right players at the right price but it’s going to be frustrating along the way.
-
Surely we have a good idea what Watford will accept. If we’ve made a final offer that is say 5M short of that then you’d be forgiven for questioning some of our activity with handling negotiations.
-
that’s quite possibly the best goal I’ve seen; full stop. Outrageous to hit a half volley that far from goal and see it still rising into the top corner.
-
Troyes have been woeful mind, impossible to judge anyone on this showing.

PIF paid a billion to settle the pirate tv dispute to clear the way for a 300m takeover. Money can’t be the issue with transfers. It’s got to be ffp, not being seen as a soft touch and only making transfers that will improve us. It isn’t going to be easy doing business but it is important that we got at least 2 deals done. We’re selling a vision and we’re going to miss out on quite a few targets early on. Sooner we get some proper sponsorship in the better. In the meantime we are vulnerable to stalling and also to other clubs sniffing around Bruno/ Botman (assuming he comes good). Big couple of weeks imo, if only to show that we are here and that we can get things done. It would be easy to look at us at the moment and think we are missing out on targets to other clubs (no disrespect to other clubs) that shouldn’t be competing with us and that we are also difficult to deal with (understandably it could argued). It’s quite clear that fans of other clubs simply think we should be rinsed and that money is no object.
-
That would be right out of left field. Hope they’ve done their scouting homework if we’re going for him. Canny goal against us but that’s pretty much the only impression he’s made on me. He was part of a pretty pathetic Watford attacking force and they’re all getting sold on for 20M or so. Madness.
-
Give Pulisic a run of games and I think he’d be really good. Started like a house on fire when he first joined Chelsea, seems to pick up a few injuries. Certainly more Dyer than Big Jo as well.
-
Lol, what a shite goal.
-
Not so sure it was clear and obvious. Hell of an offensive block if they’ve practiced that.
-
Was it Carragher who suggested Man U we’re living in the past? You can’t go on by signing the “best” players without complete buy in and a plan. Man U over recent years haven’t nurtured their talent and have made some awful signings. It should take them quite a while to put it right. In the meantime, let everyone else rejoice. Really can’t believe today’s performance after last week’s debacle.
-
Thought he did really well today, Burn did canny at LB as well, certainly better than I expected.
-
Got us a point today, guessing obvs but I reckon Dubs would have let one of those in. He’ll have a mare at some point no doubt but was really good today and imo Henderson wouldn’t have got to at least one them.
-
Feel for BDB, he’s going to have to do some running today and he can’t afford to pick up an early booking. ASM has a big job on adding some kind of cover; should be interesting.
