Surprised he's retiring as he's seemingly got incredible fitness levels and isn't even that old.

Love Sissoko. Such a positive player with more qualities than many give him credit for. His technique can swing between the sublime and thoroughly average but he offers loads of other stuff.

Wilshere's a pretty progressive player, like, he's happy to take the game to the opposition. Also has the added bonus of experience in top level games.
-
Wilshere can be quite a handy box-to-box player and is one of the more intelligent players we've got when it comes to knowing when to slow the game down and when to speed up. I really don't think Barkley is quite ready for the step up in one of the most important parts of the pitch, he should be eased in to the competition.

I think the squad's relatively exciting, myself. Intrigued to see how some of our young attacking talent performs on the big stage. I'm certainly more interested than I have been for a long, long time. Fancy Sterling to really make a big name for himself too.

Fuck off and good riddance. Mercenary posing as someone who cares about the club.
-
Delph's a good player. Offers what Sissoko generally does in terms of always trying to push on but won't be shunted out wide, at least, I don't think he would

One of Shola's was from an absolute peach of a cross and in a side where he was allowed to be the actual front man. De Jong's often been asked to be some sort of deep-lying target man, it's patently not suited to him. Still see something in him, not sure why, he's just obviously not going to at all succeed in this team with his reliance on service and need for confidence.

Same amount as Gerrard, one more than Rooney IIRC. You're always going on about Wayne Rooney. Give it up Froggy, you're never going to meet him.
-
Why suck it up? Might as well take down every hanger on that's about. That bloke has been given money to copy the work of someone else, he's an utter tit.
-
Looks like his wife has found someone else and he's not going to rescind what's most likely to be his last big contract. I won't be unhappy with him staying but I don't think he should be a starter anymore.

We need some serious work, like, even if you ignore who's potentially going. We pretty much need players in every area, bar left back. That's probably not going to work well next year. I'd like to see us actually invest in some decent wide men, 3 is the absolute minimum we need to get in to cover that. We need another centre half - I think Caulker would fill that gap - and, of course, we need heavy investment in the striking department. We also could do with another central midfielder and playmaker. Well done to the management at NUFC, short-sighted arseholes.
-
That sounds a tad ambiguous to me, Dave.

Ozil's class, simply needs movement around him and he'll pick people out for fun, and in ways that 99.9% of footballers simply can't. Set up more chances anyone else, this season, bar Silva. If Wenger builds the attacking stuff around him and Ramsey then they'll be a force.
-
I don't really want to read too much into his comments about us as a club because I think he can be a bit of a gobshite but the rest of it is bang on and I hope it helps to push AP out the door. The timing of this stuff is also really interesting, I wonder what he seriously hopes to gain from it.
-
Benzema is playing well and is an excellent option on the ball for games like these. He's properly underrated.
-
I've heard HBA's a bit of a bellend and my love for him has waned this season but I'll be ecstatic if this helps shift AP.
-
The Pards hating comments he's got on Instagram have probably spurred the scamp on.
-
Aye, 1?

It'd be refreshing if they won, for sure, I'd love them to come out on top as they deserve it. I don't even like them as a club and find Rodgers a sycophantic, repugnant arsehole.
-
Think they've blown it now. I reckon this is Rodgers' peak too, for some reason, fancy him to be gone by this time next year.
-
He's an absolute master at shutting up shop, like, the sides are drilled so well. Will never agree with his 'philosophy' but I can't help but love him.
