  1. What happened to the good old british 'V' sign.
  2. Rafa remains the biggest indicator as to what's going on with the take over, I think. I have a feeling that if it was completely dead in the water, and PCP had walked away, he would have come out fighting against Ashley. However, as he is continuing to play everything with a straight bat, and isn't being antagonistic towards Ashley, then it suggests to me that something might still be possible, however small. The moment his attitude turns though, then we know it's all over. Every press conference, i'm waiting for his "It is a fact..." moment.
  3. As a NUFC fan, it's an unusual feeling to be in such a precarious position and not be screaming for the managers head.
  4. Could we extend the break to between August and the following May? Would make my life much more enjoyable.
  5. To re-iterate what plenty of people have said, better sides never seem to fold and capitulate against us. There must be examples where it's happened but it definitely feels like it only happens to people around us in the table. Ah well, in the end, you make your own luck.
  6. This is Mike Ashley's thought pattern.
  7. The only thing he said wrong is the suggestion that Ashley doesn't sleep well. I would think that a man with no conscience sleeps very well.
  8. A small thing in our favour is that no one expects us to get anything. We've badly failed to cope with the pressure of expectation in the 'easier' home fixtures.
  9. Where's Pete Graves when we need him to tell us we are all being precious.
  10. There was a line up a few weeks ago and everyone was really pleased and positive and we still didn't win. I think we just have to accept that it's never going to be impressive and hope that it clicks
  11. "When you are at home and you are moving plates and glasses around the kitchen in 4-4-2, they say, 'Go'." What a bloke.
  12. Everton are an absolute shambles.
  13. I think Swansea might hit a bad run at the wrong time and they could easily still go down. They are on a high at the moment, but that's not going to last forever. No reason why it couldn't last until the end of the season. Confidence is an amazing thing.
  14. Dropped Jay Rodriguez today who had scored 5 in 7. Bet that's gone down well
  15. We are right where we expected to be unfortunately. Relegation is pretty much inevitable unless Slimani hits the ground running.
