I'd have my doubts tbh.

There is so much negativity around NUFC, especially with it being transfer deadline day, there's absolutely no way we are getting anything from this. The reason that Swansea are on the up is that they've made a change, and everyone around the club, from the boardroom down, has a positive attitude. It's textbook stuff.

I think we did well to get a point against Swansea Top, top team.

Ultimately, Swansea are still below us so we haven't got to worry about them, we need to concentrate on ourselves. Not that I give a fuck.

If it wasn't for this place, i'd easily be able to not bother. It's reading the chat and craic on here that I enjoy, not NUFC.

I just don't see any benefit in us staying up this year.

It's close to where he is from and from looking at us from the outside, even with Rafa, we are a club 'run' by Mike Ashley. Would you join us ? Pardew has probably told him exactly what Ashley is like, hence the change of mind.

Right now, I hope we get relegated. We'll be stuck with Ashley if we do. Rafa won't be here so PCP will walk away. Honestly mate, I think we are stuck with Ashley for a long, long time. He doesn't want to sell. I take this January window as a direct 'fuck you' to the fans and to Rafa. I think the gamble of relegation is worth it to him for the enjoyment he gets out of knowing how much agony he puts us through. Sad state of affairs.

I don't think he'll pay Ashley the money to walk out on his contract but if it's true that within the last 12 month of his contract he doesn't have to compensate the club, then I'd agree with your statement about PCP.

Absolutely no chance Rafa signs an extension when Ashley is in charge.

When the attitude of 'do not achieve' permeates from the top, it's difficult not to be affected by it. I don't condone it but when there is no drive for success within the club's hierachy, the players will respond accordingly. They don't give a flying fuck about NUFC, not like we do.
