Nah, the very reason he left was because he couldn't get the assurances he needed. If he came back I'd trust that he got whatever he felt was necessary in order to improve the club. That of course also means that he won't be back unless it is related to a takeover. I've mentioned this on another thread, but a "mad thought" perhaps, but can we possibly get Rafa in a specifically 'temporary' role again (Deja Vu . . . ) Then any problems for the new owners having to keep our temporary manager (who they may not have wanted) on indefinitely . . . well, don't apply do they. I mean, he is now available, and while Rafa would definitely NOT come back in any kind of permanent role under the current ownership (after the way he was treated by Ashley and all the broken promises) but he could be tempted by another temporary rescue job, particularly if his friends in the Consortium have indicated their imminent success to him !! Seems LOGICAL doesn't it. So if it doesn't happen, and he goes to Celtic, what's next for your "IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN" takeover? It is always so "LOVELY TO HEAR FROM YOU" . . .

You weren’t. PIF said they’d withdrawn the offer to buy the club. So formally the deal is off. Until it’s on again. Nobody has any solid evidence it’s back on. Semantics they’re waiting in the wings to proceed and you f***ing know it. Semantics? It’s the current position man. Prove it isn’t. Nearly everyone wants this to happen but nobody knows if it will. All this talk of “not long now” is horse s***. Not one person who has commented so far knows. How is the deal dead when George Caulkin confirmed in the Athletic that the money was in the country ready to be transferred for the rebooted attempt 2.0 ? How is the deal dead when various journalists confirm they are waiting in the wings. Respected ones including Caulkin, Kennedy, Douglas and others ? How is the deal dead when they are lobbying politicians and more recently Bein ? How is the takeover dead when Mike Ashley is paying thousands for legal representation ? How is the takeover dead when NCSL have received confirmation that they are ready to go once approved, why would a bloke be wasting thousands to get Mike Ashley compensation ? I could go on but I really don’t think I need to. Excellent summary of the position, Whitley mag !

Getting close now !! Soz wrong thread. Yes, wrong thread! But, you get that I hope? "Tomorrow remains the day" . . . It does, it does, it always does. Until !!!!

It has never been 'not' going to happen, the people buying us do not lose. It is strange to read somone asking if "there's a chance" . . . that sounds so 'meek' as if you don't know it will inevitably happen. Getting close now !!

They haven't, it is just a temporary digital-only thing, for during lockdown, along with similar ones in Bradford and Wolverhampton! https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2021/news/bbc-rolls-out-new-local-radio-news-services-for-two-cities/ So they have their own radio station now, then. Cheers. No they haven't . . . not in any normal, real, sense!

His mates that embarrassed he’s f***ed of?? Of course not. What a weird thing to say. There were two of them working on this, but one has now gone back to full-time work, and will only assist when he can from now on. Are you involved with them? Quite clear that he is This is old news, Patterson explained all of this on Friday night on Nufc Matters Old news, but very disappointing to read some of the disrespectful comments on here. We should all be in this together. Sorry, have I missed something? I was just asking if you are involved with them. Didn't mean anything by it. No problem! No, I am not involved with them, though I share their ambition and opinions exactly and precisely.

It is indeed the 'drug of choice', but it is AS NOTHING compared to how it will feel (for all of us) when all the dots have been joined up and the world changes right ahead of us. That is what it will feel like, a new world . . .

Give it a rest, they're not above criticism. I appreciate what they're trying to do but when they do something poorly, as we all do, but they do it so publicly, criticism is valid. And having the 2 or 3 of you in here acting like their own personal cheerleaders is just fucking weird and creepy. Nothing 'weird' about it at all. We really should all be in this together, it is the future of our club that we are discussing here.

I'm sick to f***ing death of his posts tbh. I'm cautiously optimistic but don't need the f***ing thing rammed down my throat every time I log in here  . I’ll be doing plenty of ramming in this thread pal, just you fucking watch Keep ramming bonny lad. This is all most of us have to hold onto right now, I won't give it up until it's officially 6ft under. All we have to do (all we can do) is wait. The length of the wait is getting shorter. Just think, just think, how enjoyable it is going to be . . .

Nothing to crow about at all, I don't think that anyone is doing that. On a pure footballing note, I think that we are massively underachieving, as we have for the last 15 years or so, whereas they are probably at their correct level. Our situation is about to change dramatically, but their's is unlikely to change much.

>>>>>IGNORE THE BELOW POST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ A NON-OPTIMISTIC APPRAISAL OF THE TAKEOVER OF NUFC<<<<< Neither of those things are illegal (obviously). Here's what has actually happened, and what will come to light when this sorry saga finally peters out for good: this Keith Patterson bloke and his pal have spunked some money up the wall to pay for a letter from a very expensive QC. The letter had no impact on anything because its argument (that the Premier League not approving a takeover of a club by the biggest pirates of Premier League IP was a violation of competition law) was nonsense. That's where Robert O'Donoghue's involvement began and ended - he knew it was nonsense but someone paid his fees so he had little choice but to put together a nonsense argument (note that the talk of 'letters before action' and legal action being imminent disappeared into the ether...). The idea that Patterson is part of a co-ordinated legal attack concocted by some mixture of Ashley, Staveley, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and the Reuben brothers is genuinely insane. Recruiting local gobshites to pen appallingly-written letters to MPs is not how billionaires pursue legal strategies. Patterson, like Wraith, is a know-nothing gobshite using the desperation of fans to raise his profile for reasons we can only speculate on. The Saudi takeover of NUFC no longer exists as a going concern. Ashley is pursuing damages on the grounds of restraint of trade. No-one should give a shit whether he gets what he wants on that front. Interesting that you should actually choose to refer to 'genuinely insane'.

Whats he actually done ? Going from your last two posts you are talking negatively about the guy, lowkey accuse him of being a mackem. without researching who he is or what he has or hasn’t done? If you really want to know what he has done, go on to You Tube and listen to him on the 3 Amigos show dated 8th January 2021. If you listen to that, then you will know.

Fully agree, Keith is a force of nature, where very lucky he has added this new dimension to the attack. Some very thick people on twitter and on here (Sean), who just can’t seem to grasp what is actually happening here. He is fully in the loop with buyer and seller, and is playing his role as an annoying fly very well. Bird & Bird do not threaten him on 3 occasions, unless the PL are rattled. He also confirmed he has spoken to Robert O’Donoghue QC 4 times this week, and the conversations went ‘very well thanks’. Some people will just disagree with anything, but anyone who is not up their own arse and has an ounce of common sense, realises what is going on here. HWTFL, this is happening and soon in my opinion. Yes, many of the "dots are being more quickly joined up" (as you said earlier, Whitley mag) and they are joining up more and more quickly. In all honestly, there's not long to go now, in my opinion!!

Loved listening to Keith Patterson again this week on the '3 Amigos'. His best sentence tonight (which he said a few times) was "I can smell this Takeover" . . . In context, he was saying how clearly he knew it was going to happen, which is exactly how I feel. There are great years ahead, very soon, for NUFC and all of us.

A temporary Digital Station during Lockdown only, also one in Bradford and Wolverhampton. https://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2021/news/bbc-rolls-out-new-local-radio-news-services-for-two-cities/
