  1. Long ball with those players? Well since these players would be better at playing it on the deck it's hardly relevant.
  2. What's the betting it's long term and that we don't know the full extent of it until after the window closes so no replacement can be bought ? Saying that can we still loan players after January ? Yeah, til March.
  3. If he hadn't of gotten that pointless red card against Liverpool we probably wouldn't have been relegated last season with him in the middle.
  4. Joey will always be rushed back and injured again within 5 games or so. He's shown glimpses of his potential here, but I wouldn't say he's looked anywhere near as good as he did at Man City at times.
  5. What prompted the change? Probably alcohol.
  6. Trouble with this of course is that Smith is way below the required standard for a consistent premiership midfielder. Makes it even more worrying how much Butt got selected last season.
  7. I'm slapping 20 on it then. Its means more when there's money on it.
  8. So skirge, you willing to go on record about this and claim to be... ITK?! Don't be pulling any of those weak ass marley excuses out the bag either if it goes tits up.
  9. Unfortunately for you most people understand the difference between real life and computer games One time I got beat 5-1 off Liverpool, a few days later it happend in real life, don't say it can't happen, lol. So all of this is your fucking fault.
  10. Stephen Hunt, Bullard and Geovanni from Hull would be nice. I never want to see him at Newcastle United. He'll never be fit for half a season again, nevermind a full one. Geovanni is knocking on a bit too. A want a team with pace and movement first and formost. We actually have a surprising amount of it in some areas, it'd only take a few signings in the middle of the park to transform how we play I reckon.
  11. Haha I thought that when I first read it.
  12. He was Keegans assistant manager at Man City I think.
  13. The new Spurs kits are pretty nice and I like the Lazio ones from the last few seasons. Not too sure on how they handle stripes though. Will the Adidas store become the Puma store then? That puma had better be white, I aint buying a strip with a fucking black cat on it.

  15. Hasn't Kilgallon already proved he wasn't good enough for the Prem? By that logic Colo has also proved that he wasn't good enough. One season doesn't make a player etc.

    The offside rule

Only trouble with the second one is if a player is offside and unfairly blocking the view of the goalkeeper, but not actually touching the ball, hence the interference rule that's used. Without bringing in video playback there's no accurate way to judge offside due to the human element of mistakes... but I don't mind it on the whole. It's ridiculous when these decisions go against you, but then again you have some going for you. I'd hate football to become too stop-start, with replays and timeouts.
  17. And replace with who ey? He's absolutely fine for this level and wants to be here. I'd be happy with him as back-up in the premiership as well. He's nothing spectacular in any way but he's tidy enough on the ball. A good manager could really improve him.
  18. I can't really see Carroll, Ranger, Loven or Pancrate picking up a major injury until the end of the season- And Nolan can also be shifted up front. That's extremely short sighted. Anything can happen and if Nolan gets shifted upfront then that means that we'll see super Nicky Butt backflipping his way into the starting 11 week after week. We're only halfway through this season remember.
  19. According to FM Zaki is available for about 1.2 million and he doesn't mind a small contract. Lets do that.
  20. Colo took a year or so to settle with Depor, the fans said this to us on their forum at the time. People that watched La Liga and were familiar with him said this at the time. He had a pretty rubbish first season, but I can't really think of any other players that didn't have a rubbish one with us... hence the relegation. Also having 3 or so managers in a season can't be the most helpful transition. He's coming alright now about a year on... the technical side and speed is way below par in this league but it's more physical and Colo is slowly adapting well. Always rated him although I did struggle to defend him a fair few times last season.
