I haven't sat and watched Fulham all season, if tonight is anything to go by, in a must win game, I don't know what any of us were worried about. I've never seen such an impotent squad in my life, defence like sieve too. Horrific game to watch.
-
It would still take them 2 or 3 sittings.
-
Just been reading about this "Nice guy" Steve Bruce huh?
-
Switched it off at 1-0 I'm not sorry, can only hope this is the dying throws of the last known living dinosaur.
-
More entertaining watching these entitled manure fans
-
Not even a bottom half team, the reserves of a bottom half team

We are shocking and don't deserve anything but Arsenal attempting to win gold at Olympic diving every time they smell a player near them is infuriating, even more so as the ref is whistle happy.
-
ASM with 3 defenders in front of him and still gets the cross off, we don't deserve him.
-
This is horrendous
-
ASM it really is him or nothing isn't it?
-
This is going to be the whipping we've been waiting for isn't it?

I try to stay away from social media all together these days, I follow the people I want to hear from on Twitter and limit my time on there, its an absolute freak show if you spend too long there. FB I don't even bother with anymore, I feel like you need a 2 digit IQ to enjoy it these days! MSM I avoid at all costs.

If he's gonna pass it back every time might as well put him closer to the keeper

Surely shutting the doors on powerful investment now just plays into the Super League plans in keeping the cream at the top and preventing any more money filtering down? This would only rubber stamp the monopoly and prevent any playing field being levelled, surely the antithesis of what they're trying to do. If we were to be made an example while the big fix get what they want it would just make an even bigger farce of the whole situation.

Rattling through the posts tonight after a long day at work, just my 2p worth: The PIF/MBS separation is a smoke screen, just something something PL can hang their hat on to prevent a resurgent NUFC and a 7th team in the offing, the "Big 6" clearly with an ulterior motive for their super league plans and keeping the gravy train running; they don't want those riches they're heavily leveraged against watered down. BeIn clearly hated SA and were stinging from BeOutQ and both these players had a huge sway with the PL. With tensions easing with BeIn and the 6 blowing their load on a failed European league, shitting all over that PL good will I think their position has to have softened, it can't be an instant approval though PL need to save face. Secondly I see a lot of people on Twitter panicking about PIF going for one of the 6 now as owners had their collars felt and clubs might become available, I tend to agree with @HTT IIon this one, this was never just about buying a football club, this is a much bigger picture, the ability to rejuvenate a region, to build a legacy post fossil fuel. Even if it wasn't, why would they want to invest in a club for £3b that's leveraged up to its eyeballs in debt based on future revenue during a time of uncertainty? £305m all-in gets you a club in the same league with no debt, albeit with some serious work needed on its facilities. You can build a team and a club to be proud of at a fraction of the price of one of the so called elites.

If the last 48hrs have taught the footballing world anything it's that the ODT solves nothing and preventing our takeover for the "integrity of the league" is akin to sticking an elastoplast on a cracked dam. Something has to give, hopefully it's the tissue paper thin ODT and not using NUFC as the benchmark to bolt the proverbial stable door.

Absolutely disgusting from the money hungry teams, imagine wanting a closed shop competition with a few scraps thrown to other teams that may just get in. What makes the "founders" deserve an automatic spot when you've got Arsenal barely scrapping a draw against Fulham and Manure that's spent the last few years meandering in midtable, arrogance beyond compare here and they call us fucking delusional
-
I get the nerves cuz this is NUFC and we're quite capable of imploding at any time, especially with stodgy Steve in charge. But none of the teams below us have shown at any time that they're capable of putting in the run or results in they'd need to close a 9 point gap in 6 games. Solid 1 for me now.
-
Unacceptable 2nd half this, acting like we'd already won and just need to see the game out, negative and cowardly to give them that much possession.
-
How has this oaf not brought Willock and Wilson on yet???
-
Intentional spelling mistake?
-
But surely the argument here is that the highest courts in SA gave written notice that the two were separate entities and the PL said "aye, nah" so MBS went to Boris and said "Tell them will you." Doesn't mean they are the same entity.

It's looking like a lot of the skullduggery we all presumed was happening, was actually happening. Whether that turns into cold hard evidence at this point is impossible to figure, but circumstantially it all looks a bit sus, especially with the timing of the introduction of Hoffman.
-
But we all know that because he won that game for us pretty much solo that Bruce will hoy him in from the start and sub him off for Wilson.
