  1. I think its fair to say we all agree with Edwards that Bruce should go in the summer and let someone else do it. I think we can all agree also that Edwards should go and let someone else cover us.
  2. I'll be honest, I hate the rancid piece of lard in the dugout and have felt I was fully removed from this "football club" but ASM had me off my seat today and I wasn't even fully watching the game, I celebrated both those goals, damn you St Max! At this point I just want us to stay up and hope that something materialises in the takeover front, I can't be invested in this pointless club as is.
  3. I tend to agree with the sentiment but I feel its more luck than design, I think he wanted to repay the team that played Spurs and hoped those two could save his ass when it looked obvious it wasn't working. ASM probably saved our season so I'm not going to complain.
  4. They don't have the intestinal fortitude to see a game out, could be a game of who's the shittest between us that decides the drop at the end of the season.
  5. The only reasonable and logical explanation is that they want to go down as some kind of back door to the takeover. However, if Ashley's NUFC has taught me anything its that reason and logic was left to die in the corner 14 years ago.
  6. Part of the problem/part of the solution, that's what it boils down to. I live pretty far away and haven't been up to SJP in 2 years but wouldn't go back all expenses paid.
  7. I believe the takeover is still active, I'm on the fence as to whether it will amount to anything but voted yes because its what Ashley, Charnley and Bruce deserve. For what they did to Benitez, for what they've done to the club and for how they've treated the fans. We are a disgrace to football, never mind the so called "best league in the world" there are much more deserving clubs in the league below.
  8. Took me a second, I just thought you were being dyslexic again
  9. At least its all coming out in the wash now, the Bruce sycophants have nowhere to hide, turning to ad hominem to prevent admission of fault. Listening and reading what's been said since the Brighton game there seems to be a sea of change for all but his most avid supporters. It won't change a thing but I'm glad of it nonetheless.
  10. Alex stood his ground well, factual and unemotional in his answers, enjoyed that.
  11. Yeah Alex said he'd been invited on Twitter earlier, what's being said?
  12. I've watched more during this lockdown, hadn't watched any full games of last season, couldn't bring myself to watch 90 minutes of Bruce. Again, probably a mixture of boredom and morbid curiosity, it doesn't even make me angry anymore, I know what to expect. This game is no different, probably have it on in the background and quit watching once we're 2 goals down, maybe flick it back on at the end of the 2nd to see just how many we've conceded this time. Kane and Bale will tear us a new one.
  13. So difficult to retain a sense of decorum when writing about the structure that has demolished something that you love, took a lot of will power to remain eloquent and prevent the profanities from flowing.
  14. Absolutely, Ashley has minimised any and all commercial outlets since he arrived all for the benefit of his tat emporium, wouldn't take a business guru to grow that immediately. Man, imagine a club that actively strives to maximise all revenue streams and invests them solely in the vessel used to attract that additional revenue. So much untapped potential here, get the fans back onside and smash the glass ceiling, I wouldn't care where we were so long as we were maximising our potential to be there.
  15. Done my bit, worth it if just for a vent.
  16. The only conclusion I can muster is that twice Ashley has sacked a poor manager with a handful of games left (albeit too few) and twice we have been relegated, yet he stuck by Pardew and Carver in seasons everyone was calling for their heads and both times we stayed up. In his tiny little brain he'll be thinking that sticking with Bruce is the best option based on this experience.
  17. Brighton were poor, so many under and over hit passes but they were still first to every single one. No effort, no shape, no plan, no commitment, absolutely horrific to watch. We're going down and no one can say it's harsh on anyone but the fans.
  18. Kluivert, Hamann, Milner, Distin, Jon Dahl, Thauvin, HBA, Remy, Rondon
  19. That alone pretty much sums up life as an NUFC supporter.
  20. Can we once and for all put this fallacy to bed that Ashley is just out for damages? How many journalists have to disregard it before people stop using it to shine a negative light on the arbitration proceedings?
  21. Another day, another meltdown, I think I'll just wait for the club or those involved in the takeover to make an official statement before I wet the bed. Since when did we take The S*n as gospel
  22. We're scraping away a 0-0 draw against the 2nd bottom club whilst the 3rd bottom is fighting tooth and nail for a 1-0 win against the reigning champions (albeit a shadow of the team that won the league). That's all you need to know. Bruce still thinks he can draw his way to safety while the rest at the bottom are trying to pick up as many points as possible. I can see the next however many weeks without our front 3 spent sitting back and defending for our lives hoping to finish every game 0-0 and eit will invariably backfire.
  23. "The Saudi takeover of NUFC no longer exists as a going concern. Ashley is pursuing damages on the grounds of restraint of trade. No-one should give a shit whether he gets what he wants on that front." IMTTS said no. Think this statement proves he is, as suspected, full of shit. I'd imagine there will be a few posters go ghost on the back of this information. Doesn't hurt to have an opinion or want to think a certain way, but name calling arguing opinion as fact just makes you look a bit daft in the long run.
