  1. As I said earlier in the thread, rather than drop Wij for being ineffectual away from home, why don't we keep our home tactics and give him a chance to be the player he us at home? Chopping and changing between home and away is the real problem. Stick with what we know and what works and we'll start to see better results.
  2. Butt hurt Palace fan, clearly knows fuck all about HBA and clearly types like Ryder, by smashing his face into the keyboard. I couldn't resist replying to that, calmly like. I wonder if my comment will get approval?

If he's found guilty it'll be around 5 years. I'm going 4 years 6 months, aye Anything under 16 years I heard.

My local team, not sure how I feel about that! Nearly gained promotion last year to the Championship only just missing out on a play off place, they started the season really badly and sacked Graham Alexander, still rattling round the bottom but have enough to stay up this season.

  6. How about rather than benching our best goal scoring threat, we play to his strengths away from home like we do at home? He's bound to ineffectual when he's 10 yards inside our own half with only Perez 40 yards in front of him ffs.
  7. This was one of my main gripes with Pardew, it was always about nullifying the opposition, limiting the damage and hoping someone pops up at the other end. At least with McClaren we've cut that out at home but he needs to start being braver away from home. Yes we need to be watchful of a team full of first class internationals but we should also be trying to impose our game on them. Fortune favours the brave so we need to stop being cowards and attempt to play actual football away from home, we may start picking up points because at the moment the cautious game is yielding us nothing.

So he's been left out of the squad for Man u and Hippo Heed and Sunderland both claim they didn't know he was going to plead guilty.
  9. As much as I hate Jack I'm not sure there's much to choose between any of the options at the moment. At least at LB his back passes will be limited to Elliot. But he usually pivots to the left to try and pass to Dummett. You should look for odds for more than 50 throw ins to Chelsea as he gets confused he'll probably drill himself into the ground.

  11. This all depends on how McClaren approaches this game, park the bus, change formation, we'll get soundly beaten with barely a whimper. If we treat this game like a home game, try and impose our game on them when they've got an eye on other games in front of them I think we'll have a chance of at least a draw. I'm going for a 2-0 loss then

Exactly, ethics don't come into it if it puts the club in a questionable legal position, I can't see him being part of the team in the near future either. There's always some knuckle dragging supporters following all clubs that wouldn't see the problem in this, fucking idiots.
  13. If he's the most influential then the others must be one step lower on the evolution chain than amoeba!

no because the full trial isn't over and he hasn't been sentenced yet for all 4 charges, then they can take action I think Crying for them to sack him instantly is such a Facebook generation, offended at everything attitude. They certainly shouldn't play him but there is no reason they shouldn't wait for the verdict like. The right thing to do is suspend him until the trial is over and then sack him, his days are numbered and he shouldn't play for them again but while the case is still being heard they need to hang fire. yep, exactly, what's the problem? everyone scrambling to be the most self-righteous by wanting him sacked within a nanosecond of pleading guilty to a charge while the trial goes on I think it's just seen that he's done what he's done, admitted to some of it and in respect to admitting those charges absolutely should be sacked, but now isn't the time to do it, impatience and outrage above level headedness. If he's sacked now and it's indeed seen to influence a jury then it could ruin the case and the club could find themselves with some serious questions to answer. If they don't sack him after the case is finished then I'll polish my pitch fork.

Morally he can't be anywhere near the club now, they can't be seen to be supporting that kind of behaviour! Surely they'll have to bend to immense public pressure, they'll be rightfully vilified if they don't get shot now.

    Steve McClaren

The points on the board is what matters as far as league position are concerned, however we are playing better and we're not getting completely spanked on a regular basis, the main worry being the inability to score and put games to bed. Undoubtedly, bar a hand full of games we've played much better and more positive football and my eyes don't bleed watching us. The main point being, McClaren isn't the answer and he's not a good manager, but he has been tolerable and I'm not cheering on the other team anymore, I'm not willing us to lose, that's light years away from where I was as a supporter under Pardew and in that respect, yes McClaren is better. We're going in the right direction and I feel like though it's 2 steps forward 1 back we are making slow progress, no that's not good enough when you've had £80m pumped into the team but years of neglect and patching up holes has got us here which isn't totally McClaren's fault. We need results and we need them now, I just hope we don't run out of games before we start to find the form we need.
  18. I don't think that feeling of unbridled rage will ever subside
  19. Another couple for Mitro please, get this monkey off his back!
  20. They were doing a lot better than they are now. How is it clearly not a case of poor management? I do feel sorry for him mind, don't know how anyone can successfully manage while not being able to speak the same language as the players I don't have more than a surface knowledge of what's going on there but a quick look at the last 10 results he's had (3-3-4) and the last 10 before he took over (4-5-1) both show them picking up 13 points. EDIT: Actually, some of those will be cup games too. "Points" probably doesn't stand up, but the overall argument remains. The games he won were cup games aye, haven't won a game in the league. As I said given the language barrier I wouldn't be writing him off based on this but he has done very poorly Fair enough. Still, probably deserves a bit more time before being given his P-cuarenta y cinco. No league wins is a bit worrying, though. Sir Bobby managed to to do alright not speaking the language in Portugal, Spain, or England. Harsh. Tbf he did struggle with the language sometimes, but it was endearing/hilarious
  21. I didn't kill him, I was only holding the gun, clearly it was the bullets fault.
  22. What a crazy article. It's the fat man who put these people in charge who can't deliver results when spunking £80m in one season... and he only had to spend £80m because of the years of chronic under investment. Fucking joke. The whole article is one massive contradiction, it's not his fault, but it's his fault.

  24. Do Russian submarines sink causing everyone on board to die? Allegedly none of the new players have relegation clauses, not sure how true that is but wouldn't put it past these idiots.
