    Hatem Ben Arfa

Is he fit enough to start? If not, is it better to start him and he lasts one half or would he be better coming on in the second half as a sub? Also who do we drop? Like I said, Cisse could also have scored from Sissoko's passes. Ben Arfa and Sissoko both play best on the right. Someone to replace Gouffran on the left would be best but I wouldn't want to put Ben Arfa on the left. Is much rather see creativity than graft, so yeah if he's fit start him. I do like Sissoko but he was having a good game and Ben Arfa was off his pace yet I thought he offered more when he came on. Gouf would be the best to replace as he needs a break, clearly looking jaded and didn't offer much today, but I wouldn't play Sissoko or Ben Arfa there. Still think when Remy is back Gouf should get a rest with LDJ playing up top and HBA/Remy playing right/left of him.

How anyone can say that he didn't change the game today I don't understand. He wasn't at the top of his game, no, but he made a huge difference from the off. His passing and vision today were a breath of fresh air and sorely missed since Cabaye's departure. I thought he roamed up and down the right hand side well today, got back well to defend on a couple of occasions and rarely gave the ball away. Not his best performance for sure but totally deserving of a starting berth next game, will he get it though?
  3. Very few people will see this post. Maybe me quoting it will help. Needs another mention iyam, don't want to leave it to chance
  4. Was pulling what little of my hair is left out for the whole 93 but screamed like a little girl when Ben Arfa bounced that ball off Cisse's head You could see HBA lining up for the shot, realising he's cornered in he sees Cisse's head poking out and goes for the ricochet, what a player man!
  5. and it's moments like that HBA should start every game he is fit.
  6. I think a little bit of my brain just dribbled out of my ear watching this
  7. Cisse is playing much better, seen a marked improvement in his game in the last two games, he just needs to start putting his chances away.
  8. Backwards, sideways, forwards, sideways, sideways, backwards, forwards, this is so laborious! They get the ball and attack with intent, we seem happy to just try and keep possession. Come on Ben Arfa!!
  9. Some do themselves a favour (Zlatan), some don't and end up at clubs well below the level they should be at. But football is about entertainment, especially when you support a mid table team with no chance of winning the league, and I would rather watch HBA play 1 good game in 5 than watch Gouffran or somebody like that who will work hard and score the ood goal. And the reason why is that I know that if I see Ben Arfa play on a good day or even if he does one outstanding thing in a game, that I'll remember that performance or thing and still be talking about it in 5 years time, while if Gouffran scores a goal tomorrow, I will have forgotten about it in a few weeks. he's one of those players that gets you off your seat, makes you shout yourself horse with some amazing skill, those things don't happen enough for us, there's only Remy these days and Cisse in that first half season he played that really got me going in a match. Hate these grinding down games with a passion, I don't want to watch an Allardyce Bolton, a Pulis relegation battling team or the like, I want to see a swashbuckling Keegan team or a Sir Bobby attacking with flair team, even Hughton's Championship winning side was more enjoyable to watch than this turgid shite we are dished every week. Just sick of his shit and the problems with Ben Arfa just personify everything that is wrong with the current setup.
  10. Probably my favourite player, yeah he strikes me as a bit precious, however a good manager would understand this and treat the player with the confidence he needs. Bashing him in the papers every time you need to take the heat off yourself is doing no one any favours. Wasting a talent that could easily make his job a lot easier and devaluing him as an asset to the club. Clueless bastard, but I've come to expect nothing less from Alan Fuckwitt Pardew.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/johnson-on-not-being-picked-for-england.893896/ Why isn't Johnson being picked for England? One of them goes on to say he should be replacing Ox!?! Oh and Shearer put the spanner in the works to stop Phillips from getting caps
  12. Spuds got their tails up here! Benfica need to keep the ball and take the wind out of their sails.
  13. Can't blame anyone unmotivated for watching a no meaning match, it's no secret we have no aspirations for Europe and we've barely had much to shout about this season, to coin an Americanism we've stuck it in "drive" and are coasting to the end of the season. I'll back the team cuz I always do, but I'm not excited for it, Palace have so much more to play for so will supply more effort and drive. We have very little creativity unless HBA gets a rare start, just think it'll be a ground out keep it tight kind of match. Hope they prove me wrong, just pisses me off we don't really go at these teams.
  14. It's been said a million times but if we fuck up our summer transfers I can bet Shola is our plan B
  15. I've just reached all new levels of disdain for the lot of them, the sooner the fuck off the better instead of rotting our once proud club!

A lot of head scratching, then when the Neanderthal confusion sets in resort to "watch your letterbox marra!". My eyes hurt!
  17. I hope we stop them winning the title and that horrible buck-toothed racist fucks off to Spain or something.
