  1. I think people genuinely felt Pards hands were tied and Ashley was screwing him over, £30m and 9 players later and it's EXACTLY the same problems as before but with new and improved excuses, he's got nowhere to hide any more.
  2. I dunno I think people are genuinely getting sick of his tripe now.
  3. He's blamed the crowd so many times now, man. Tbf I don't care how innocuous this was in comparison to previous misdemeanours if it's turning the crowd, bring it on. Aye, fair do's and I agree, just saying it amuses me when people have been treating it like it's a new thing. Seen it on my Facebook as well. Can't say I understand this being a tipping point after all the ammunition we've had trying to turn the Pardew apologists but I'm not complaining.

  5. No way man! So Pardew = Ferguson now? Yeah if Pardew gets sacked we might start shipping goals and struggle to score an..... Oh hang on?!
  6. Top work with the banner guys and you made a few of the nationals too, hope it goes to print, that would be amazing!
  7. Tide has totally turned in all the comment sections on the Chron, everyone going for jugular on there, funny that some are admitting this game/post Pardew comments have turned them, seems strange after all the other stuff we've had to endure.
  8. Pardew has no say in players coming or going at the end of the day and Ashley will think in his own mind he's spent £40m so no cause for complaint. We've made some exciting signings potential wise, but they aren't the sort of players Pardew can work with. He needs a striker who will score 15 goals from nowhere and we haven't got one of those for the first time in two years. The squad we've assembled needs a genuine manager to get some football from them. Still think we need a playmaking central mifielder and a quality centre half but you're right it won't happen and with the signings I think we have a mixed back of potential and not very good. You're right though Pardew means everything is total waste doesn't matter who is playing. We are short in a couple of positions, but we do have a lot of exciting players who can make things happen. Without a top end striker though, it would need someone like Pochettino to get this lot into the top 8, with Pardew I think we'll do well to stay clear of relegation. With Pardew we've got a bunch of individuals who aren't as good as the sum of their parts, even with more (unlikely) additions. A half decent manager could make a decent functioning team out of what we already have.
  9. Purposefully avoided this game in both my accy's today, surprised we managed 3 goals tbf but certainly didn't fancy a win of any kind. The two lads at work who also bet (Liverpool and Preston supporters) also avoided our game like the plague.
  10. His comments about being open at the back are clearly a precursor to us playing more defensively, that's his excuse for not attacking, back into his Pardshell he goes.
  11. A solid 7, we can't score and we can't defend, it's going to be a long, depressing season. Unless something changes and quick we're going to be fighting off relegation from early on.
  12. I cannot fathom how anyone would want this shit stain to get another point? If not only for his insufferable self congratulatory speeches. The sooner he is gone, the better, if there was a chance of that happening while we were winning if be right behind the team. However it is a mean to the end, it's like having cancer but not wanting treatment because it makes you feel ill, even though you knew if you did you would get better. NUFC losing and Pardew getting hoofed ARE mutually exclusive so bring it on now so we can get rid of him and someone else can rescue the season. If he limps through until the end of the season we'll have another year of this.
  13. Holy s***! Who do you think should be called up ahead of him then? Barkley and Lallana are injured, Gerrard and Lampard have just retired, and Rodwell has barely played 5 games in the past two seasons. He's there because Hodgson has to call up a certain number of players ffs. He's "next" in the pecking order, so what the hell is the problem with having a look at him? We've taken the p*ss, and in context rightly so, out of him and the fact that Pardew wanted him to replace Cabaye. But he's our player now, and he hasn't done much wrong so far. I don't often agree with Ronaldo, but on this account I fully agree that we should wish him the best of luck. If the call-up gives Colback any additional confidence that he ups his game for us, then all the better for NUFC. He's been a stand out player in a decidedly average Newcastle side, I was as p*ssed off as most when he joined but he hasn't done much wrong since being here and has impressed given the chance. So why not? Let him have his chance, see if he can do something for England. After all it was Pardew who told him to aim for England A stand out player man. Alright maybe stand out was a wrong term of phrase, what I mean is he's not done much wrong, keeps it simple, keeps it tidy and is a no nonsense type of player who does what he supposed to, nothing more, nothing less. Of course a paraplegic 90 year old could stand out in a Pardew team. He's been reliable, England international? Maybe not, but he's got his chance so good luck to him.

  15. The only tricky thing is staying awake while we pass it sideways and backwards for 90 minutes
  16. 3/1 Palace, we're practically evens, who said glue sniffers can't get jobs?
  17. Very difficult to get? Your banished one to said team you fucking spanner
  18. Then I hope we lose the next 10 by heavy scorelines. Whatever it takes. Sadly, wanting what's best for Newcastle, the players, and for ourselves as fans means hoping we lose, lose heavily, and lose repeatedly. I hate even thinking it, but I cannot support this horrid tripe anymore. This is also where I'm at right now and have been for a long time, most of the fan base are unable to see the bigger picture though. I tried my best for the sake of enjoyment to try and just watch the games and take them for what they are, a game of football with the club I've supported since a kid but there's nothing to enjoy anyway. Us having a car crash start to the season really would be for the greater good. Trying to watch us at the moment does nothing for me but induce sleep, it's turgid, slow, uninspiring shit. Wake me when he's been canned!

I hate even thinking it, but I cannot support this horrid tripe anymore. Greater good, it's a sad indictment that true support in situations like this means wanting to lose to rid us of Groundhog Day. It's not a bad outlook it just doesn't sit easily, the players and NUFC have my support but this ass clown doesn't and if that means us losing, regularly and embarrassingly then so be it. Short pain, long time gain, anything else prolongs the agony.
  20. No goals and a walloping every week, you'd have to wonder how long it would take, not something I'd like to bet on.
  21. Warnock has a lot to answer for, why would he do that to us? We beat Gillingham with an OG and he's bleating on like HE beat Chelsea away. He'll soon come crashing down when Palace embarrass us at home, of course they'll be a "tough side" with "new manager bounce" but the excuses are wearing thin now. Hopefully when we go behind at the weekend the unrest will start to creep in. 100% fraud who's bullshitted his way through nearly 4 years here, that's the only thing I'll ever give him credit for, grade A chancer. But his time is up, it's not if but when I reckon now.
  22. He was just trying to push him away with his knuckles
