Right, time for some schadenfreude!

A good manager adds value to players
-
It was clear he was carrying a lot of baggage under Bruce, wasn't sure he would find form again but fair play to the lad he's made himself undroppable. Looking even better than the player that came in on loan we were so desperate to sign.
-
He ain't getting that back until he goes to the coach
-
Kepa? More like Kipper, AM I RIGHT??
-
It just makes me irrationally angry, no idea why, just can't stand the song let alone a bunch of grown men singing it half speed
-
Mendy was solid all night, stupid to take him off
-
Absolutely despise YNWA
-
Rumours are that shot still hasn't landed
-
I'm way behind here
-
Has to be up there with the most goals scored in a 0-0
-
This is going to go on all night isn't it?
-
Mendy is just a brick wall
-
For all their possession Liverpool look like they're going to lose this
-
Could have been 3 or 4 goals in this game already. Not sure how no one has broken the deadlock yet, Chelsea definitely had the better chances on the break.
-
It could just be that without ASM he's seeing more of the ball in wide areas as the onus falls on him to create, might be worth trying though.
-
Fred levels of competence in front of goal there
-
Mendy is ridiculous
-
No good if they can't get it back in the net though.... almost

Chelsea under immense pressure here
-
Only we can relegate us now, so long as we don't get complacent and continue this intensity, teamwork and tenacity we've got enough momentum to finish lower mid-table.

Rock bottom 1, only Everton can catch us up to our game week and only on goal difference. Form tables suggest we're clear but you never know, however after Howe and our new owners have got me so invested in football again I've been watching a lot of games and taken a close eye watching the teams around us it's hard to see how any of them get back above us now bar a real change in form. The only team to worry about below are Burnley, they'll almost definitely be safe but it won't be at our expense, they're just so hard to beat and will keep racking up the draws with the odd win while other teams around them flounder. If I was an Everton supporter I would be extremely worried right now, too many individuals in that team, no experience to handle the pressure of being down there and a manager who has limited experience as a manager and of relegation both as a player and manager. Too good to go down?

We'd all pretty much written this squad off when he came in, simply not good enough, not enough quality to keep us up, the same squad Rafa had but 3 years older. What a difference he's made, slowly and steadily they look like different players. It can't be overstated the change in most of this squad, his January moves have certainly made a difference but its the core of what was already there that has catapulted us to a 7 game unbeaten run. I for one will hold my hands up and say I was underwhelmed but hopeful when he came in but he's smashed my expectations. I just hope he can grow with the squad because he deserves to take us to the next level.
