  1. a fair number of the fans who still go were still thinking it was all rosey again after the window. So many of our fanbase are simpletons. It's what Shepherd did, just spend some cash 1-2 years too late to keep fans happy. The club is dysfunctional on all levels. Yep. 'Spend a few quid and that'll shut the stupid cunts up' seems to have been the order of the day.
  2. Saivet, man. What a fucking waste of money
  3. Epitomises everything wrong with the recruitment policy of this club, this cunt.
  4. I think most clubs will try and get them for a knock down price given that they'll be desperate to fuck off and we'd need to sell before buying. I can't see us getting what we paid for Wijnaldum.
  5. There's absolutely no way Ashley and co would even contemplate selling us as a 'project'. That requires forethought and planning.
  6. In terms of money we'd be able to recoup from the players likely to be off, what do folk reckon? - Sissoko - £4-5 mil - Wijnaldum - £8-10 mil if we're lucky - Perez - £6-8 mil - Mbemba - £4-6 mil - Tiote - £2-3 mil - Krul - £4-6 mil - Janmaat - £4-5 mil
  7. There's not one of these players I'd keep. We're destined to plummet down the leagues given the complete lack of talent permeating throughout this club. We're stuck with the shite too, I fear. Nobody will want Taylor/Anita/Colback et.al
  8. Spot on. Throwing a few quid to compensate for the squad deficiencies over the summer and in Jan was never in a million years going to be enough. Braindead fuckwits and cowards run this club, from top to bottom.
  9. Arise Captain Gerry, let us soar like your mullet in a stiff breeze. If you squint it's like having Keegan back.
  10. There's absolutely no point in him staying. Whilst that fat cunt remains Rafa will be able to change absolutely nothing.
  11. I can't stand him, I'm afraid. He's wanted away for a long time and plays like he doesn't give a shit. He's a reet fucking coward for a man of his size. Looking forward to him fucking off. Epitomises everything that's wrong with this 'recruitment' policy.
  12. He genuinely cared, that much can't be doubted. Legend.
  13. He isn't what we really needed in Jan, and he's not made a great deal of difference, unsurprisingly.
  14. We're fucked imo. The players that won't be able to get moves away are simply not good enough. Those like Mbemba, Thauvin, Sissoko, Gini etc need to be moved on quickly. If there's seemingly no money in the bank we'll need to sell before we can buy. I don't trust the recruitment policy of this shower of shite to bring in even the bare minimum.

There's been a great deal of pressure on Rooney's shoulders for years now. Imo he's never been one to perform under the pressure in the same vein as the really great players - Shearer and Messi, perhaps even Beckham to name but three - that's why he runs around all over the place thinking he has to do everything. Good players like him should have been encouraged to let others do the work for him.
  16. I see that gobshite Sullivan is saying Wham want Ibra this summer. What stops these cunts from shutting the fuck up and getting on with their business quietly? They're a repugnant pair, those porn barrons.

Unlike Owen, Rooney has the physique to change his game in a similar way to Shearer. Why he hasn't done so, I don't know. Being shoe horned into central midfield on a number of occasions didn't help.

So instead of dropping an in-form striker, we simply shoehorn another striker into some stupid position in some stupid formation to accomodate him. That's exactly what I see Roy doing. Not what he should do at all given the red hot form Vardy and Kane are in. Nice to have some competition and also some decent, hard-working players who look like they give a toss. Would be nice to see some centre backs come through though.

Would imagine it'll be Alli or Henderson to be dropped in favour of Rooney.
