  1. Bournemouth absolutely flying at the moment
  2. Very much hoping this is the same mindset as the owners

    Anthony Gordon

He looked totally overawed going back to Woodison
  4. I was speaking more in terms of the same team/manager The decline under SBR was much more gradual (which perhaps sticks in the memory)
  5. The drop off in quality in performance since the PSG game has been the biggest I've seen in my years as a supporter to date.
  6. This is absolutely where it's at for me
  7. We need a top class player in Jan
  8. Been dreadful since coming back from that injury
  9. Stop being so bloody sensible Brum
  10. Much resting on the next few results, but presuming we get fuck all from Villa and Liverpool, of the top managers in the PL today, how many would take their team through this set of results and still be pretty untouchable?
  11. I do have to say that I don't think the injury situation has been managed particularly well. There doesn't seem to have been any major allowance to change the style of play to accommodate the lack of players to choose from. It's been a case of pressing ahead with Plan A regardless.
  12. This lot 5-0 to Fulham and conceded 3 at home to Bournemouth. Urgh.
  13. We'll get a good insight into the mindset of the owners and the broader plan based on January spend.
  14. Body language of some of the senior lads isn't great tbh. Like they've given up on the season.
  15. Can't go on this, like. Can't just crossing fingers and hoping for injured players to come back in and pull things round. We can't fucking defend. We're predictable going forward.
  16. The drop in form and confidence has been pretty grim, like.
  17. Just play fucking Tino on the wing, Eddie. Ridiculous, this.
  18. Feel like his ban was an early turning point in our season. Seemed to totally take the wind out of momentum.
  19. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I'd like to think that a fully fit squad wouldn't have been so absolutely fucking abject in getting a result against fucking Luton. The reality is that we've not really shown any flexibility in our approach which was, in likelihood, necessary in light of: A. The dogshit luck we've had in terms of injuries B. The fact that Chelsea, Spurs and Villa would invest and be stronger this year C. Our style of play would have been on the radar of video analysts throughout the league
  20. Appreciate it's tangential, but really feel like the Tonali ban was significant in the context of our season. Totally fucked us in CM in many ways.
