Newcastle United 1-0 Crystal Palace (20/04/2022)

It's going to have Al-Rumayyan, Staveley, Ghodoussi and Reuben in it, isn't it? -

Might as well add Watford too. They literally have to win every game and overhaul the GD. It’s obviously not going to happen - plus they have Man City away on Saturday. -
Off you fuck lad x

Their subs got them back into it. However, it shows how organised we are. We’d have lost that under the previous lot. Generally speaking, like under Rafa, we’re hard to beat. -

Gonna start running round with my arms bent at the elbows in his honour. -

Bruno is the real deal. Absolute joy to watch. -

Robert against Real Mallorca, too. He's what, nearly 40 yards out? There's absolutely nothing on and there's no way someone should be scoring from there. Poor goalkeeping maybe, but it's hit like an arrow. -

I'm going to mention Diame against Brighton with genuine seriousness too. It's an all-time classic for the now-defunct DVD compilations. Utterly, utterly absurd and will still get talked about in 10 years' time. They were the better team up until that point, but I feel like such a fluke goal out of nothing really galvanised us to go on and win. It was such a massive week beating both them and Huddersfield away. -

Tbf to Viduka, he was superb in Keegan's front three with Owen and Martins. I think we'd be looking back at his time with us very differently had KK stayed. -
Did a job, seems a genuinely good egg but not sad to see him go at all. Even after the Tottenham debacle, not once did I ever think "we really miss Isaac Hayden".

Watched that in a bar in Tenerife. Load of proper pissed Burra fans walked in just before half time and were fucking unbearable for the rest of the game. -

Blackburn under Roeder was personally a class away day. 3-1, with the final goal being Martins putting it into an empty net after Friedel went up last minute. Cans on the train down, Fernhurst party tent, Morrisons near the station for cans on the way back, pub after getting back up. I was 18 and a horrendous mess. -

Chuck Solano vs Everton on there too. Outside of the foot. "Steered in, shaped in, coaxed in." -

Most have been covered, but I'll add beating Villa 3-0 under SBR when Shearer scored that volley. We were brilliant from start to finish and were showboating in the second half. -

It really is time to bin off Martin Tyler.

He's posted something previously. I'm sure he's suggested he's got a link to a player at the club (not Krafth!)

Living and working down here, with it being me first day back, I've squeezed reference to Bruno/95 or 95th minute/diving headers into as many conversations with as many people as possible today. It's been fucking glorious, particularly given recent 5-0 and 4-0 drubbings they've given us. A couple of mentions of scenes without needing clappers has also hit a few nerves. -
Oh aye. Hand over the mouth and the fact he's walking off laughing about it shows all over he didn't mean it.
