  1. N'Zogbia___Butt____Geremi____Milner Luque_____Butt____N'Zogbia___Milner Milner_____Butt____N'Zogbia___Solano Luque_____Butt____Geremi___Milner I think theres decent options imo, Dyer dosent fit in when a few injuries clear up, we're better off selling him.
  2. "We love you Nobby, because your 5'2, we love you Nobby because your from Peru, we love you Nobby, black and white through and through...!" other version might be this? nobby solano, hes only 5ft2 nobby solano, he comes from peru nobby solano, he loves to play for the toon Aye a think theres 2 slightly different versions.
  3. "We love you Nobby, because your 5'2, we love you Nobby because your from Peru, we love you Nobby, black and white through and through...!"
  4. Based on Ameobi's awful performances over the last 3 years and that Carroll looks a much better bet as a physical prescense up front.
  5. It hit people at the end of last season... we were walking out & booing for finishing 5th... surley everyone can use that as an example of the danger of expecting too much and turning fickle.
  6. I'd rather him playing than Ameobi myself.
  7. Blanket ban on football video's. Sorry.
  8. Dyer dosent care, if he's put right-wing he sulks a lot of the time just going through the motions. Where the hell does he fit in?? He lives off his past and is 29 in December. Its a fair point that Allardyce could get the best out of him, but I think players like Milner & N'Zogbia are worth having in the side much more. Milner/Solano/Geremi for RW, he goes missing badly enough to do it centre midfield where Emre & Barton should be ahead of him and left wings a no-no with N'Zogbia hopefully getting back to his best there, granted no-one knows for sure what Allardyce is going to play.
  9. Solano will always show his class wherever he plays, his quality is still massive for us.
  10. No, Solano's an average right back that looked better because he was compared to Carr. Jugding Solano last season *purley on his own performance, forgetting Carr*, to say he was average is harsh to say the least. He read the play brilliantly, and defended with intelligence, winning his tackles too. When going forward, to have a base to start from at the back, quality on the ball, is massive. We're lucky to have someone of his quality to be backing up the play at RB.
  11. Quality squad player/versitile, but isnt Solano the much better option for RB?
  12. Between Spurs at home & Blackburn away.
  13. Souness! Souness! "The Souness Brand" Howay lads he just gave it his best shot.
  14. Would he really be a massive loss? It is like he needs everything laid on a plate for him, you want your strikers to be able to come up with a moment of individual magic the odd time. But then again it would be very interesting to see him & Viduka together.

The captain dosent have to play every game. If Solano is captain & Sam wants to drop him or rest him so be it, its no big deal. For me Solano should be playing a canny amount of games next season & is a big player for us. Just because your captain dosent mean your definetely going to start every game no matter what.

Butt & Solano are the candidates imo. Butt is in the Gary Speed mould, he showed real character last season, and he takes responsibility. When things were going tits up last season he was one of the few he was demanding the ball and trying to make something happen, and should his quality. Solano is black & white through and through, has been such a brilliant servant, consistantly giving us quality over something like 8 years. Again he was one of the few to try and take games by the scruff of the neck last season and proved how good he is at RB. He does lead aswell, not only with his play, but you see him talking on the pitch giving out instructions. It would be superb to see Solano leading us out, only justice imo.
  17. Err, his track record isn't as good as previous managers who were backed to the hilt but who ultimately didn't bring the club a trohpy. Its just it seemed so obvious he was the perfect man to sort out the dressing room & structure of the club, perfect timing, & I dont see how Mike Ashley changes that. The way he is so detailed with his preparation, covers absolutely everything and is known for his man management. Its what weve been crying out for, someone who leaves no stone unturned and makes sure the players have no excuses not to play to their standard.
  18. Its not on, Allardyce is a long term plan, money cant buy you team spirit and organisation & its a disgrace if Ashley is only willing to give him one season.
  19. Take advantage and sell him when getting a decent enough price. It really is crazy he gets picked, its totally true - living off his reputation.
  20. I would still like to see a new right back come in, Nobby dod well but still think positionally and against pace he a bit suspect Postionally he was a master at it, thats why not bieng lightning quick didnt matter.
